Time flies past. One week had passed and Xiaobai's wound had healed, only leaving a patch of pink tender flesh.
In this one week he had interacted more with the Lu family, confirming one thing. In this house, the girls ruled. The empress held the most power and the princess came second. The many years of being immersed in blood, being a cold machine, and just drifting around aimlessly did not erased the tiny little yearning and hope of obtaining a family, and a warm and happy home.

It didn't even reach a week for his defences to shatter. Maybe it is because he became a child again? Or maybe because he did not feel malice but instead received love from them?

Lili and Xiaobai or Alban, he was given a new name as Xiaobai was just a nickname given to him by his trainers as he still remained white after all the harsh trainings he received(they are trained to endure extreme conditions like desert), has grown much closer due to Lili always being with him when the adults at home goes to work.
In the night, because there are no more available rooms and they can't possibly let a wounded child slept in the cold living room, they decided that the two children sleep together. Which Father Lu vehemently protested against but was overruled. There are no problem as both of them are still children.
Maybe when they enter puberty, the couple will buy a new house so Alban will have his own room. These situations create opportunities for them to bond and talk together.
Well, it is mostly the talkative Lili talking. And Lili talks a lot that she can talk your ear out. Fortunately, Alban is no ordinary kid. He can withstand Lili's chatter and he even grew used to it, Which is pretty terrifying, as was only a week and he is even sure that he and the room will feel empty without the chatterbox. It shows the power of Lili and her machine gun mouth.
In the early first half of the morning of Monday,the family is having a Chinese style breakfast, with the usual meatbuns, soup dumplings, soya milk and fried fritters.
Today, they planned to get Alban's identity card and communicator. All of them decided to go so that after finishing the official chore, they will have a family outing. Father and Mother Lu both worked at the third half of the day, so they will have plenty of times to waste.
The ride to the center of the city where the registration point is located is only 15 minutes. And the registration is very fast, just getting your name, thumb print and picture and 30 minutes later it is all done.
"Mama, when we finished Big brother's registration, can we go to the mall? I wanna look at toys, please? " Lili begged
"Of course dear, we will. And darling, I am planning to have all our communicators changed. Wouldn't it be nice to have the same set of communicators? I just received my bonus and and I planned to buy new ones. Especially those family sets. My friends said it is very good, each of the family will know the other's location through it. Isn't it just perfect? It can reduce our worries for our children when they stay at home and we can have the added bonus of having matching accessories."Asked Felicia to Aldrich.
"Well, we can do that. Is it okay Alban? " Aldrich in turn asked Alban. He knows it might be difficult for Alban to have a positioning device put on his body.
Alban nodded, he can't talk as chewed on his food, his cheeks bulging. He can't remember when he last eat such delicious food. He almost cried. Thank goodness he graduated from eating plain porridge and tasteless foods when recuperating.
The Lu couple felt funny when they looked at their new son. The coldness Alban exuded when they first met was significantly reduced. Now, added with the bulging checks as he ate, with Lili beside him in the same condition, they create an adorable picture.
Mother Lu secretly activated her communicator, sneakily taking many shots before feeling satisfied .She knew that her decision of abducting, I mean adopting this beautiful little boy is right! Beauty is the essence of all things !
Alban sensed what Felicia was doing but did not care. All he knows and all he can see right now is the food in front of him.
"Yum! This meatbuns is so soft,so meaty, so delicious! Oh, what is this, soup came out! Hmmmm, this broth is so rich... What crispness! Such a comparison with the soft inside! Is this milk? What did they mix in it to make it so creamy and so rich? Oh, I dread to think of the future without all these foods. Whatever, for now, I'll just gorged myself."
The rich inner monologue exposes Alban, showing tendency that he is or will be a certified foodie. If the couple heard his thoughts, they will dumbfoundly stare at him and simultaneously reached a conclusion .To make their cold faced silent son talk, have him give a commentary to delicious foods.
After fishing their breakfast, the family tidied up, then all of them went out. The two children walk infront, holding hands, with their parents behind them.
Alban was at first uncomfortable with close contacts, but because Lili likes to be touchy, she manages to train Alban to being used to bodily contact. Another terrifying aspect of our dear Lili.
Alban was wearing a simple white shirt with blue denims and black sneakers thet was hastily bought by Father Lu on the mall. He is also wearing black face mask to reduce the danger of being seen by someone from his former organization.
Lili was wearing a blue sleeveless princess dress with cute sandals that have shiny sequins on it. In her head a decorative headband with bunny ears flopping about was placed. Looking at her made someone think of a cute, beautiful elf bunny bouncing around. The couple behind are in casual and comfortable attire.
Reaching the end of the alley, the family turns into the right corner through the main streets, flagging a hover car. All of them climbed in, going towards the registration center.
