The two, big and small, stared at each other. Each not backing down and their aura not willing to lose to the other.
The boy knit his eyebrows as he perceives the dangerous atmosphere the man in front of him gave off. He knows that the man is not someone ordinary,as the aura that cloak his body is innate and the danger that he gives off is something that is accumulated through extreme conditions.
He is slightly wary, but did not move or attack the man, as he can feel that he has no intention on harming him, and even if he does, he would not have waited until now. Also, if he attacks, considering his injured and small body, he can guarantee that he cannot defeat the man. "Well, at least for now." He thought confidently.
The man was also observing the boy in front of him as he tries to overpower him through the atmosphere he gave of. His eyes flashed a trace of surprise and appreciation as the boy remained calm and unaffected .
"This little guy is not easy," He thought to himself. He straighten up, looking down condescendingly at the little boy.
"What's your name? Why are you injured? Where did you came from? More specifically, what organization or family did you belong to? "
The man questioned,crossing his arms, his long legs standing slightly apart.
"My name is Xiaobai. And as far as I know, I'm an orphan. I belong to an underground organization, was trained as an assassin, and I escaped from there. I was wounded while escaping." The boy answered after a moment.
In fact, from the moment he wakes up, and saw the man, he already considered many things. He decided to tell some truths.
Judging the man, he knows he is not simple, and because he did not feel any killing intention, and considering the situation he is in now, it is much wiser to state some facts, garner a little trust, and if possible, some sympathy.
He does not know why he is not dead yet, or why some god or any entity that gave him a second chance in life gave him that privilege. Just that, if fate, the fate that he damned, had given him the opportunity to life so he couuld find some meaning for why he exists, well, it's not that bad.
Maybe he can have a life,do whatever he wants, and just go with the flow . In the tiniest corner of his heart, he still has that bit of anticipation for the journey that is called life. So he will grab the opportunity in front of him.
The man looked deeply at him, raised his eyebrows, and said.
"My name is Aldrich Czar Lu,the one beside you is my daughter, Liliana, my wife's name is Felicia. And I have to warn you, don't get any ideas about my daughter! " He says as he stares fiercely at Xiaobai.
Xiaobai was speechless. He tilted his head, making his aura diminish and countenance cute. But that action didn't convey Xiaobai's meaning at all, that he has no idea why Aldrich would think that way. Instead, it made the man more displeased.
No way, who made his daughter a fanatic for handsome, beautiful creatures? He had to admit that the actions done by the little boy added more charm to his already overwhelming beautiful face.
He facepalm when he realized that his daughter inherited the love for beautiful things from her mother. He had a feeling that his status in the family will be one step lower than now in the future. He is feeling glum.
"You had escaped from your organization, so what are your plans now?Where do you plan to go? " The meaning in his words cannot be more clear. He wants this stinky boy to leave. Heartless? He is heartless, but he didn't care. The only ones he loves and cares about is his beloved wife and daughter. He can't care less for others.
Besides, he is confident that this boy will survive well on his own, the boy got the ability and the wit .
"I can somewhat help you if you want to go somewhere. I know some folks that can help you. You can stay here for atleast a week to recuperate. Then you can go."
In simpler terms, by his words he is just steps away from grabbing the boy by the neck and throwing him away. He is already kind enough to offer help. If not afraid of the trouble that may come if he left the boy outside, he will not bring this little wolf inside his house.
Okay, he already labeled Xiaobai as a wolf, someone that will take away his daughter. I have to say, this daughtercon father really had rich imagination, to the point that he is already on guard on someone that haven't even talk to his daughter yet and already planning countermeasures to keep him away.
Xiaobai was perplexed. This man changes his face fast. Even though Aldrich was not very friendly at the beginning, he had no reason to be suddenly hostile to him.
"Papa, what are you saying? Where are Big brother going? "A milky voice interrupted them.
They both turn their heads towards the source. That source was drowsily rubbing her eyes, She yawned cutely as she tried to tidy up her scattered hair. "Why is Big brother leaving? "She questioned as she wore a curious expression.
Aldrich leaned over, his action caused XiaoBai to stiffen and the little girl to reach it her arms to her daddy. Aldrich carried his daughter up, helping her straighten her hair.
"Of course it is to return home. He can't stay here all the time you know, his family will be worried."
"Family? Aren't we Big brother's family? "The baby girl was confused.
"Lili, where did you hear it from?"Lili said confidently, "From mama. "
Aldrich's face darken. He cursed. "Papa, you said bad words, Mama gonna spank you! "Lili said,widening her eyes as she accused.
"We will talk about this later." Aldrich said, his face hard to look at, he put down his daughter on the bed, and going out of the bedroom in one smooth motion. The room fell into silence.
Two little guys stared at each other with curiosity. Lili smiled and thought, "Great! I now have a very handsome Big brother,Big brother is so beautiful... "Her smile grew bigger at the thought that she will always see Xiaobai's face everyday from now on. What an eyecandy .
