It was a regular day on Bannerman Road, Rani was in the attack writing a report about crop circles, while luke was using Mr smith to play video games.
"Ah-ha in your face little man!!"Clyde cheered.
Luke just rolled his eyes at him.
"Hey, do you mind some of us are trying to write a good story over here!!"Rani snapped from the other side of the room.
"What's so important about your little story anyway?!!"Clyde scoffed.
Rani removed her reading glasses and placed them on the table, "Excuse me, this so-called (Little story) is what's going to help me get my job as a reporter thank you very much!!" she put her hands on her hips.
"OK OK, I'm sorry you win jeez!!"
"If I may interrupt!!" said Mr smith.
They all turned around facing the Xylok.
"four miles away there are some very strange energy signatures coming from the woods, I highly recommend investigating!!"
"But what about mum?!!"Luke asked.
"She won't even know we're gone, she still in America alien hunting or something!!", Clyde put down the controller, "And anyway i think we have been doing this long enough to know what we're doing!!"
"If we're going to do this we might need protection or something, Mr smith any idea?!!"Rani asked.
"On the contrary, i do have something that might help!!"Mr. Smith said with a hint of excitement In his voice.
On the table was an armband of some sort.
"two days ago Sarah Jane found these in London while you were at school,no one knows the exact origins, but we have determined that it carries a mini containment field strong enough to trap a slitheen.
"Thanks, Mr smith!!"Luke said attaching the device to his wrist.
and with that they were out the door.
