Chapter 56 - 56 old ruins (announcement)

(A.n: forgot i had this last chapter in stock, i have a new fic i just released and i plan on actually finishing it unlike this one.)

Synopsis:

In the year 2030, the vtuber going by the alias of Mozzikito has accumulated over 1 million subscribers, capturing the hearts of countless viewers and with such fame, it was inevitable that some of those viewers wouldn't be right in the head.

This is the story of one such viewer named Blake reincarnating in a world controlled by gods and magic.

His intense obsession and zeloutry towards Mozzikito, combined with his foreign soul, gives birth to an extraordinary ability called [Blood Sacrifice].

With enough accumulated blood, he could ascend a simple peasant to the level of a saint, create an artifact to seal a god, or even create an ability not following the rules of the universe.

After using his ability for the first time, he soon realises that there is only one thing that he wants to achieve in life.

To do everything in his power to summon Mozz into this world and turn her into a real goddess, in the meantime he would spread her name throughout the universe.

The only problem is that while he might be a bastard with almost no morals, who wouldn't blink an eye at galactic genocide, he venerated Mozz too much and did not want to make her disappointed or have her hate him by causing senseless slaughter.

Instead of a path filled with destruction and death, he tries to make the universe a better place so that Mozz would be proud of him... Or at least what he thinks would make her proud.

It has been about 12 hours and besides adapting to the sealing properties of this dimension and mining a bunch of different ores and even some gems i have also leveled up my miner job and skill.

And to my surprise i also got dominator's control to tier 3 due to my perk talented psion the skill changed into:

While the downside of strain on my soul and mind isn't ideal, the ability makes up for it with its benefits:

No mp usage, it works more like a muscle/body part making it easier to control but it's still just as pliable as before, i can feel the telekinesis like i am touching something meaning if i create a field of telekinesis around me i will have something akin to poor mans observation haki.

Since i now had nothing but time i decided to test out the limits of this skill since until now i just mined for resources.

Taking out a bunch of useless rocks from my inventory onto the ground I made them fly in the air before they grouped up together making a large boulder the size of 5 elephants.

Now i started condensing them into as small a ball as i can, once it became the size of a yoga ball i started feeling the strain on my soul and mind in the form of slight pain well it wasn't pain but it also was which was weird and it also felt as if i was in a box that was getting slowly smaller squishing my body uncomfortably.

I continued compressing the ball until it was the size of a basketball at which point i was feeling extremely uncomfortable but i continued slowly once more.

I managed to compress it by 2 cm in length but i stopped once my mind and soul felt like they started to crack up, since it just got ever so slightly damaged giving me a headache and lowering all my stats by 20 until my mind and soul got completely healed which didn't take too long as i only needed to rest for a minute to heal my mind and 5 more to heal my soul before i was perfectly fine.

While i probably could make the ball smaller i decided to try something else, focussing on my skill i create an extra arm made of only my telekinesis which works perfectly well but when i stop putting any effort into it, it went away so i tried again but this time when i created it i put a lot of focus on it becoming permanent with my will untill i start feeling that uncomfortable strain but i continue and at some point something just clicks and i stop focusing on my psychic arm and it doesn't disappear which is great and i also feel that the arm is putting some slight constant pressure on my soul and mind and that pressure is ever so slowly building up at a steady rate.

<20 minutes later>

'hmm seems like there is still a build up of pressure but i seem to have adapted in a way that i relieve it faster then i can get it which is good, but i don't need an extra arm' i thought as i dispersed the arm into nothingness.

'hmm i wonder if i can make these limbs work inside my blody' i thought and started creating an arm in the place of my physical arm, which worked but after i finished i found out that when i tried to move both my physical and psychic arms at the same time to see if it can increase my strength but for some reason psychic energy seems to get disrupted when in contact with active life force/Qi.

(A.n: life force becomes automatically active by flexing your muscles or moving your body, so if you are asleep and have relaxed muscles your body will flow with calm inactive life force that won't react to active psychic energy. {I am making fantasy nonsense to make the energies across the multiverse work})

Well having a whole psychic body won't be as useful as i hoped, but if someone turns a part of my body into dust i will still be able to move until i regenerate my limbs back.

'next test' i thought as i severed my left arm and stopped it from regenerating, leaving me with my psychic arm i guide mana tghourgh it and see that it's about twice as hard to control my inner mana in only my psychic body.

'well with that done i probably shouldn't be getting any more special psychic limbs it will probably take a day or two before i adapt to this psychic body fully' i thought as i started going to the middle of the dimension.

'not sure what i was expecting but this is quite underwhelming' i thought as i observed an orb glowing with energy.

[Dimensional core: the heart of this dimension keeping it from collapsing into nothingness over time. This core is made out of pure energy (sealing mana, neutral mana, dimensional mana, space energy, ??? Energy, ??? {???} ???). This dimension has little to no conscience.]

'Hmm i don't like those question marks so i won't try to absorb any of the energy like i intended to just in case there is something way too dangerous for me to handle' i thought teleporting away to the entrance.

Arriving outside i text rin and ask for the locations of the ruins that haven't been discovered yet.

[R: there are a bunch of ruins that have knowledge on different things but i am guessing you would be the most interested in rituals, mostly the ones that permanently upgrade something about a person am i right?]

[C: you are correct]

[R: well here are the coordinates, do be warned there are some monsters that have been mutated into abominations and quite a few demons, there is an artificial portal that leads to the lightning demon dimension. I recommend not going inside or anywhere near it and don't play with any of the ritual circles in the lowest level of the ruins, no scratch that don't even go to the lowest level where the portal resides (floor no.10).]

[C: noted but aren't there like lightning demons swarming out of the portal?]

[R: the portal is being supplied with minimal energy due to not having any active energy source and one of the ritual formations hides the signature of the portal so that combined with the small amount of energy means it might as well be invisible to anyone on the other side of the portal.]

Sending him a thumbs up i leave and start heading to the coordinates which took me one hour.

Standing in a desert i see a very rundown castle that looks more like a pile of stones than a castle.

<10 minutes later>

'finally i found the entrance' i thought descending down the seemingly infinite staircase.

<10km of descending later>

'finally something other than stairs' i thought looking at the giant cobalt door that had a ritual circle with a few empty C grade monster cores around the floor.

Taking out my sword i slice the door and kick it open to see a long hallway with many rooms.

Taking a look inside one of the rooms, i see a bedroom in a very bad shape.

The bed is rotten, the furniture is collapsed and broken, the books are ruined beyond repair.

After looking through more rooms on this first floor i see that all the rooms are in a similar situation.

After a few minutes of searching these parts and finding nothing i went deeper inside and found myself in a lower floor where i found my first monster which looked like an overgrown bat with stone like skin.

When it noticed me it instantly jumped at me but was unsuccessful due to being split in half.

Eating a piece of it i move on and explore the rooms on this floor which end up being mostly a mix of research Rooms and containment cells with a bunch of monster bones that have died many years ago due to starvation, sadly the research Rooms had nothing useful due to it being in a horrible shape.

After searching the whole level i found nothing useful not even a monster, well i did find some damaged ritual circles that i "downloaded" into my mind for future study.

Since there was nothing but that stone bat monster which most likely survived only due to the ability to eat stone, i went to the 3rd level which greeted me with hallways and rooms just like the last floor but this one seemed to be in a perfect condition, no cracks on the walls, no dust, no bones, it was in a perfect condition which after some investigation was because of the special iron cubes that were placed on pedestals about every 50 meters or so.

[Iron cube: a chunk of iron that has the skill: {aura of repair 1} due to being in a aura ritual that sacrificed many items with the self repair enchantment.]

'so rituals can give skills to items, wonder how that translates to humans' i thought putting the cube inside my inventory before investigating this floor fully, i found a few more weird monsters but none of them were anything truly special.

On a good note i finally found some books most of which were research notes on the end results of different rituals and their disadvantages and advantages, which was interesting but at the end of the day there was no actual knowledge on how to create or use rituals.

The deeper i got the stronger the monsters became but they also became more bizarre and unstable. If in the upper floors the monsters had 1 or 2 rituals done to them then on the 9th floor they were in probably over 100 rituals, out of curiosity i created a simple mind bridge on one of the abominations and what came to me were basically just the emotions of confusion anger and pain so i just killed and ate a part of them.

Weirdly enough there were only like 4 lesser lightning demons in the whole underground facility which was weird since Rin said there would be more so i sent him a message.

[C: i already am at the 9th floor and all i saw was like 4 lesser demons in the whole facility.]

[R: weird maybe something happens in the future that causes the demons to start entering our dimension. Well i still don't recommend going to the 10th floor just in case]

'i am probably paranoid but i don't want to get sucked into the lightning demon dimension or something like that, plus i have more than enough books on different rituals so i got what i came here for.' i thought and started getting back to the surface not before stealing anything remotely useful which was mostly the iron cubes which numbered in at around 1000.
