The next day, my dad called and told me he was already close that where was i, so that he can come get me. I told him where I was, and when he entered my school he saw me in a restaurant and he didn't look happy.
" Do you eat at all"
" Yes, Dad I do eat, what are you even doing here, are you not meant to be in California"
" Yeah,well I have some business to do in Texas and since my daughter is here I said why don't I come see how she is doing. And since I won't see you when you get home I decided to come see you in school"
" So where is the guy you have been telling me about"
" well I left him in class when you called me. I'll try calling him" I check my bag for my phone and when I brought it out I saw that James already gave me few missed calls.
" Hey James, I was about to call you, my Dad wants to talk to you"
" Your Dad, I thought he was home"
" Yeah, well he has some business in Texas he wants to check on that's why he is here"
" Okay give him the phone"
"Hello son"
" Hello sir"
" How are you James, my daughter has told me about you a lot"
" Oh, wow. Hope they are all good things?"
" Don't worry they are all good. Hope your taking good care of my daughter? because I don't really like how she looks" He said giving me the stink eye
" Oh don't worry Mr Brown, I am, is just school stress that is getting to us"
" If you say so, well I have to go business is calling. Talk to you later"
" Okay sir, have a nice day" with that the line went dead
" You didn't have to sound so mean dad"
" What, why. Your my first child and daughter so of course I'm meant to sound like that "
" It's alright, am good okay? nothing bad will happen"
" No problem princess, I have to go" he said as he pecked me on my forehead and left
The day went by in a blur and I was done packing my things, and my aunt called and told me she was waiting for me outside. I called James and told him I was leaving, we couldn't see because he went for a concert. Yeah James plays the piano and sometimes he gets invited to play in places I do not even know they existed. After i packed my things into the car, I got in the car and followed my aunt home. It was sure nice to be home. But not her home at the same time it was good running away from the school stress. The next day I got to the airport bought my ticket and waited for my flight. While waiting James and I did video call till my flight was ready. I got down from the plane and saw that my mum was already waiting for her.
"Mum" I ran and hugged her
" How are you dear?"
" Am okay, how is everyone"
" Well everyone is waiting for you . come on let's go"
We got home and immediately I opened the door Ava, Max and Evelyn hugged me.
" Your home, finally my name can rest "
Ava said and went to her room, leaving me with Max and Evelyn.
" How was school, what did you bring for us"
" We'll talk about that later" Everyone was bursting with joy when I got back and I was happy. Sometimes we all sit in the sitting room and I tell them stories about my school how big it is and fine it is or we just all sit and watch movie together. Everything was calm and good until the day my mum came across my phone and saw my text with James.
" Who is James"
" My boyfriend"
"And you've had sex already"
" Yes, is there a problem"
" Well yes, you both are not married and your having sex already"
" Yes mum,I know and we are working towards it"
" Does your Dad know about him?"
" Yes and he has already met him"
" Does he know you've had sex with him already"
" No that is my personal life. Mum please give me back my phone"
" No, am not giving you your phone back. say bye bye to it, because you won't see it again. When your Dad gets back you have some explaining to do"

With that Lisa's mum left with her phone and well that's where her hell began. My Dad came back after three weeks and her Mum told him everything. She gave him her phone and he read her chat with James. Seeing his face she knew she was in trouble. He checked her result and seeing the way she failed some course added more fuel to his anger.
" I sent you to school so that you could learn and become someone in life. But instead you became useless. How could you. After the whole work, time and effort we put in your academics this is how you repay me?"
" Dad calm down, listen I know your angry and hurt but you have to calm down"
" You say calm down, why should I, after seeing your text with James, I wanna sex you in d class room again. If you know what is good for you , better get out of my sight and forget about going back to that school or seeing James." I've never seen my Dad this angry or hurt before. He smashed her phone and went to his room. Since that day everyone treated me like an outcast. What could she do she was the one that caused it. My siblings don't respect me any more, all because of what she did. Any little argument mum always brought up what she did in California and it became kind of annoying. A year had pass since the incident but still mum didn't let it go that easily. Dad even threatened to disown me. She cried her eyes out, she couldn't talk to James or even allowed to go out. One day Mum forgot her phone at home. So she took it and called James
" Hey James, it's Lisa"
" Oh, Hi"
" What do you mean oh hi, we haven't spoken for months and it's oh hi I get"
" Look Lisa, your dad called my parents and told them everything. He warned that if I ever try to call you, he'll call the cops on me. And I don't want to go to jail"
" So what do you mean?"
" What I mean is am breaking up with you Lisa, I can't do this again. Am sorry"
" I hate you James" I cut the call, block him and well screamed, threw things and cried my anger out. It was not meant to end this way. It's messed up. Here I was thinking he was the one. I dropped my mum's phone and went to my room. There was nothing to do, no phone or laptop. I just wanted to be in my own world. I locked the door and fell asleep wishing I could never wake up again
