Ken opened his eyes and saw that both his hands were tied and chained, and he was sitting on the floor surrounded by darkness. Suddenly, a voice asked him, "How are you, Ken? Don't you recognize my voice?" Ken's face began to change with fear. In that dark place, a torch suddenly lit up, revealing a face. The moment Ken saw it, he screamed in terror and fainted.
After some time, Ken regained consciousness, but the memory of that face haunted him. He woke up suddenly, frightened, and thought, This should not continue. I must first inform Lorentz and Harold about this. He tried to cut the chain with a small piece of wire he found in the room, but it was impossible. He left the wire aside.
Soon, a guard entered. Ken bent down and made a sound to attract him. As the guard came closer, Ken grabbed the wire and stabbed him in the chest, killing him instantly. Ken quickly took the guard's gun, shot the chain, and freed himself. He escaped through a nearby window and ran into the forest.
Ken knew the forest well, so he used the narrow paths to escape. While running, he reached a highway and suddenly collided with a car. The car stopped, and Azar stepped out. Recognizing Ken, Azar immediately helped him into the car and took him home.
At Azar's house, a doctor treated Ken. The doctor said Ken was still unconscious but would recover soon, then left. After some time, Ken woke up to see Azar sitting beside him. Azar gave him water and asked, "Are you alright now?" Ken drank and sat up.
Ken asked, "Where have Lorentz and Harold gone all these days?" He explained everything that had happened. Azar replied, "Their families are safe under my protection. They cannot come out now—it is not safe. I have hidden them." He then called Karikalan and spoke to everyone, calming them down.
When Lorentz asked who the enemies were, Ken's face showed fear, but he did not reveal their identity. Instead, Ken said, "I must go back and inform Harold and Lorentz about this matter." Azar agreed to accompany him. Together, they set out toward the island.
On the way, Azar received a call from Karikalan, who said, "I found them. Somehow I managed to gather everyone in a van and escape." Ken asked what had happened, and Azar explained everything. Ken then spoke directly to Karikalan, who instructed them to meet at a certain place.
They prepared for the mission by taking a smart laptop, a satellite tower for communication, weapons, and technology kits packed into three large boxes. They also carried a GPS device. Special officers from the cyber branch were stationed to monitor systems and relay information. Ken and Azar were told to wait at the location for 24 hours to receive commands.
Later, Karikalan arrived with the entire family at the shore. He warned that staying there was dangerous and urged everyone to board the boat. Just then, a group of enemies followed them and attacked. Ken, Azar, and Karikalan fought back, then escaped by boat across the waves until they reached the island city.
Karikalan told Ken, "I will return in exactly sixteen days. Wait for me." Only then did Ken realize that fourteen days had already passed, and two more days remained before the mysterious path would open.
They set up tents brought by the boat, arranged food supplies, and lit a fire in the middle. Sitting together, they ate while Ken explained the secrets and rules of the island city to Karikalan and his family. The night slowly passed.
