The team event was over and points tallied. I had 200136 points awarded to me. It seems they rounded out the decimal. There were still a lot of points and I had to wonder what they were used for. The cavalry battle was annoying beyond belief, I didn't mind teammates, but I felt like I should play a support role.
I rolled my head in some thought and looked over to Ibara who was sitting down. She had her hands clasped and looked like she was praying. Did people still pray in this day and age? She was regrowing her hair more likely.
I paused though as I realized I cut a little more than just her hair. To wear nothing underneath her clothes was crazy. Her hair would regrow though and cover up the scorched opening. I was about to lay backwards when Midnight walked up.
"Alright kids, I'm guessing you are wondering what the points were for. As you can see above you on the screen is everyone who will be in the final event. As for the points though, they will be used during the intermission break."
She pointed to the screen and it changed again, "Behold the intermission games vote. You can use your points to vote for what mini games you want to play. However as you can see some of the events are hidden. This is because they are a secret. You are all adults and sometimes we need a little bit of spice in our lives!"
She laughed as everyone seemed to take her words in a different direction. "The crowd will also vote on the mini game events too. So if you want a specific game voted for, why don't you try to convince them. However you can also take this time to relax, recover your strength and get something to eat or drink."
I nodded with the announcement. Putting my vote into the scavenger hunt wouldn't be that bad. I moved to vote, but someone grabbed me by my shoulder. "Tota, Tota! You should vote with us!"
I looked at Erin and raised my eyebrow. "What are you guys voting for?"
Mina gave a smile, "Well, I mean isn't it obvious? We are voting for one of the mystery activities!"
I paused and thought about it, "What if it is all girls cheerleading? UA would likely do something like that since many heroes have fan service. I mean Mt.Lady literally has a soda brand."
"Honestly that soda isn't bad, but that soda existed before she became a hero." Toru was right as well. I sighed, "Fine I will vote with you guys, I was going to vote for the scavenger hunt, but I suspect most will vote for that one."
Erin scoffed, "Not if we have anything to say for it. We already gathered 8 people to vote! And the more points you vote for the better! Though I w-"
Mina covered Erin's mouth, "Let's stop that before she starts rambling. She nearly talked our ears off earlier."
I looked up at the voting board again, "So which mystery event? There are three of them."
Mina shrugged, "We figured we would just roll with the first one."
I nodded and decided to use half my points on the voting. I will save the rest, if it is useful for something else I'll have some left over. I looked at the three girls and waved, "I voted. I'm going to get some food now."
They waved, "See you later."
What should I do now? "Ugh, asking that to myself is always a bother."
Someone replied to my spoken thoughts. "Asking what you should do now? A real classic."
I looked at Denki and nodded, "What's up?"
He looked around and shrugged, "I'll be honest with you… Tota. Hmmm, You seem like a guy who has lost the light of his life. Like a guy who needs to fill the void in his heart! Ahem! So while I am being honest, I'll admit talking to you now, it is to get your help in a little scheme of mine."
I sighed, "Alright, I don't have any other plans. Explain while I get food."
Denki smiled, "You got it, so basically through some networking. I was able to discover that one of the mystery events is actually a cheerleading contest. Boys can apply, but the girls are required. Before you say anything about it being sexist, there is an opposing event for the boys. So how about it? Wanna help?"
I nodded, "Pretty sure I already agreed, but I feel like I should ask. Who did you bring into this?"
Denki nodded, "I managed to get Ida to agree to help since it is a proper event and an opposing event exists. I just hope he doesn't dress in a cheerleading costume himself. Izuku, Mineta, and Hanta also know about the plan. Specifically, I need your help though as we need some more points."
I grabbed a sandwich and Denki jerked to the left., "Ah sick, they have chili dogs."
I waved to him, "As you were saying? Do you know which events are which?"
Denki looked around and got closer to whisper to me. "An upper classman with reliable credit in this field told me. He is the guy who set up the voting system. We need like a thousand or so points to make sure the event is selected."
I gave a nod, "So what are the three events, I already put some points into event one."
Denki nodded, "The first mystery event is a water gun and balloon fight. The second event is the boys event while the girls event is the third mystery event. Ultimately if you put points into the first mystery event we should be good."
I gave a nod, "I'll put the rest of my points into the third event."
Denki held up a thumbs up, "Thanks man."
I shrugged, "Like I said, I don't have much going on unless it is training. I'll be in the resting rooms, if you could tell me when the events start."
He nodded with a mouth full of chili dog, "Sure man! See you later."
