Chapter 61 - Redmane: The Prince, Fynn The Young

(3rd Person View)

"Oi, Brother!" a young boy called out to Prince Raegon who walked on the ramparts of the castle

Raegon looked up to see him, "Hm?"

The boy had black hair and eyes, and he wore dark but regal clothes, befitting a prince. He sat atop some crates that were stacked against the wall of a guard tower.

"Oh, Fynn." Raegon said, "What is it?"

Fynn looked down at Raegon with an annoyed look.

"Who in the hell do you think you are, Raegon?" Fynn said with contempt in his voice, "Going around doing what you do."

Raegon raised his eyebrow, "I could say the same to you, Fynn." He said calmly, "Speaking to me, your older brother, like that. I would watch my tongue if I were you, little brother."

Fynn then jumped down from the crates and landed in front of Raegon. The young prince then looked up at him with a serious glare.

"This is the first Festival Father has thrown since before I was born." He said, "I will not have it if you ruin it because of your dumb actions."

Raegon looked down at him, "And what is it to you?" He said, "Mind your own business."

Fynn gritted his teeth, "I couldn't care less how many women you have, you imbecile." He growled, "But it is your antics and recklessness that will cause trouble for Father. And if the Festival is canceled because you angered a Pirate Warlord, I will not forgive you."

Raegon chuckled, "Oh little brother." He said, "I find it adorable that a child such as yourself carries himself as an adult would."

Fynn raised an eyebrow, "I am the Prince of Redmane, Raegon." He said, "I will act like it. As for you, your actions do not befit a Prince. You will bring shame to our family if you keep it up. Brother Leonidas has grown tired of your hubris. The same could be said for Uncle Frey."

Raegon then glared at him, "Oi." He hissed, "Do not speak to me like that, you filthy little brat. I will have you gutted and thrown to the dogs if I need to."

The two of them stared at each other, creating a very tense aura. The nearby guards that were on the rampart noticed this and began to make their way to them.

Fynn then smirked slightly, "You wouldn't dare." He said, "And even if you did, you won't be able to touch a hair on my head."

Raegon stared at him as the Guards reached them.

"Is everything alright, Prince Fynn?" one of them asked the boy

Fynn nodded, "Yes." He said as began to walk past Raegon, "Escort me to my tower."

As the guards followed the boy prince, Raegon turned to look at them.

He saw as Fynn stopped and glanced at him, "Oh, and by the way, Raegon." He said, "I know what you and Father spoke about. Tread lightly, big brother. Elder Brother will have your head if he finds out about it. And there isn't a damn thing you would be able to do about that."

He then walked away with the guards following him.

Raegon merely stood there and watched as they disappeared from sight.

"Damn, that little shit." He grumbled, "He's a bigger pain in the ass than Leonidas. And he hasn't even hit puberty yet."

He then looked up at the sky. He watched as the clouds slowly drifted in the sky.

"Hm." He said aloud, "I can feel that the Festival would not only involve the fighters Father invited. But my own brothers as well."

He then smirked,

"Let them come at me then. I'll Kill Them."
