Once my foot was bandaged up Kadachi stands up and smirks.
"Now that that's dealt with how about we talk about a few things."
I silently nod in response as he takes a seat next to me.
"About last night, I want you to know that nothing happened, also please be weary next time you accept any drinks. This time we got lucky, and do not think it's your fault because it's not. I never would have thought to talk to you about something like this because I did not think something so shady could have happened coming from that man. So it's my bad and I apologize for having you endure such a thing."
Stunned by his apology I was taken back for a moment.
(He came first thing in the morning just to apologize for something like this? He must have felt extremely guilty even though it was not his fault.)
I shake my head before finally responding.
"It's not your fault, It is whoever chose to do this fault, besides I trust you...But...Thank you for the apology it does make me feel a bit better about the whole situation."
Kadachi smirks and rubs my head, He then stands up and walks towards the door but before walking out he turns back towards me.
"By the way, I have to talk to my parents in a few minutes, You can get yourself ready for the day while I do this and do not worry yourself about the situation, I am not going to tell them anything bad that happened last night."
With that said he takes his leave and I sigh with relief.
(Good, I do not wish to deal with this subject anymore It would be best to just move past it and not worry so much.)
After a little time passes and I am ready for the day I walk out of my room and enter the living room where everyone was waiting for me. Mrs. Sheng immediately stands up to greet me.
"Kairi, You look beautiful as always! Kadachi said that you guys had fun last night. I am very happy to hear that!"
I smile at her trying to hide the awkwardness that I felt as I had flashbacks.
"Yes, so much fun thanks!"
Mrs. Sheng giggles at my response and turns towards Kadachi.
"You guys have a wedding coming up soon why not all of us take her to do some shopping for it?"
(My heart skips a beat when she mentions the wedding, I could not help but blush silently. Kadachi chuckles at our response and nods his head.
"Sure, but I think dad has some things to do so it'll just be us three."
Mother giggles but waves her hand.
"He wont mind being left out, this kind of thing isn't his style anyway! Ok lets head out now."
Once at the mall we spend our time picking out wedding decorations, I tried to keep it small and traditional but Mrs. Sheng choose some extra stuff, after awhile we walk into a wedding dress store where Mrs. Sheng looks at her son and points towards the door.
"No! your not allowed to be a part of this till the wedding day, It is bad luck for the groom to see his wife in the wedding dress before the wedding!"
Kadachi looked a bit sour and rolled his eyes.
"Fine, i'll be in the store next door then..."
Once he is out of the store i'm led to the back where they take my measurements.
"Wow your so tiny but you have the most beautiful curves I have ever seen!"
I blush at her comment and Mrs. Sheng giggles.
"Ok Kairi what kind of dress do you want, you can have whatever one you like!"
I thought about it for a second before realizing.
(I have never even thought about something like this, I do not know what my prfrence even is...)
after a moment of silence Mrs. Sheng could tell that I myself had no idea, But as if a light bulb goes off above her head she speaks with enthusiasm.
"How about me and the store keeper go look for some beautiful dresses we think you might like and you try them on, Then you can choose the one you like the best!"
I smile at her feeling relieved she came up with that idea.
"That sounds like a good idea, Thank you...Mother."
As if hearts pop up in her eyes she grabs a hold of the store keepers wrist and they go search. After some time they come back with multiple dresses.
"There, go try these on and we will help you rate them!"
I do as I am told, and about an hour in I walk out of the dressing room with the last dress chosen for me. Both Mrs. Sheng and the store keepers mouth drop in awe.
"Kairi you look STUNNING in this dress! Just look at yourself."
I pick up the hem of my dress and gently walk in front of the mirror. I also couldnt hold back a smile while staring at myself.
(This is it...This is the dress!)
"Mrs and Ms. Sheng is this the dress?"
I look back at Mrs. Sheng with a big smile and nod, She then looks at the store keeper and we both say it at the same time.
"This is the dress!"
After buying the dress we meet back up with Kadachi who was talking on the phone, as we approach I could hear from the tone in his voice he was agitated, but once he takes notice of us he immediately hangs up and smiles at me.
"How did it go?"
Mrs. Sheng was first to answer
"It went well, I think that's it for me today, I'll go ahead and go back home and take this stuff with me while you kids take some time for yourselves."
Before any of us could respond she happily runs off leaving us alone. Kadachi clears his throat and shrugs.
"Well, do you want to go out to eat?"
I shrug as well.
"Sure, can we have something sweet too?"
Kadachi chuckles and rubs my head.
"Anything for you babe."
I blush at his response
