Upon arrival I'm helped out of the car by Kadachi, As I step out I quickly take notice of the huge mansion that laid before me. It was quite elegant and had a 21st century look to it . The nice black pavement led way to the front door.
Before entering Kadachi pauses for a second and I pause with him.
"Try to stay close to me, there will be lots of people and I don't want you to get lost."
I nod without hesitation and we enter the front doors, upon entering we were quickly noticed by many on lookers. Some could be seen whispering and some could be seen giving us dark stares.
(Why must this be so nerve wracking, I guess it doesn't matter I'm don't this for Kadachi.)
As if reading my mind Kadachi takes my hand in his. My heart seems to beat faster at this response and I could feel my cheeks heat up.
He leads me to a table where we take a seat. He chooses a table in the back as to not have to much attention brought to us and a thought crosses my mind.
(I wonder if my family will be here tonight, I'd rather not run into them at a time like this I wouldn't want Kadachi's reputation to dwindle because of my personal issues.)
Not to long after taking our seats we are approached by a few people who Kadachi talks to one on one. I stay seated and quiet whilst they chit chat about business and other topics until we're finally approached by two familiar faces and one that I don't recognise.
"Ah, Kadachi it's nice to see you again!"
Kadachi and I look towards the voice to see Ms. Karina, Kian and another man walking towards us. Kadachi noticeably steps between me and Kians point of view.
"You as well Tsubasa Fu, And Happy Birthday!"
The man named Tsubasa chuckles and pats Kadachi on the shoulder.
"No need for pleasantries we're family friends, it's been a few how have you been?"
As they chat I take note of Tsubasa's characteristics. He had light brown hair with emerald green eyes, he looked to be in good shape and stood at about 5'11 140 pounds.
Just then I hear my name being called and stand up next to Kadachi.
"Ah, yes this is my soon to be wife Kairi."
I politely smile and bow my head in respect.
"Its nice to meet you."
Tsubasa laughs as I smile wearly.
"No need to bow Kairi, you are family from here on out just call me Tsubasa!"
I nod with a warm smile.
"Thsnk you."
Just then I couldn't help but notice Kian starting at me, as I follow his gaze I feel Kadachi's coat land on my shoulders and look up at him to see him staring directly at Kian.
(Oh, it seems he noticed him first...)
Tsubasa chuckles once again not realizing the atmosphere and nudges Kian.
"Hey bro, shake Kairi's hand and say hello!"
Kian smirks, which sent chills down my spine as he reached out his hand.
"Its nice to see you again Ms. Kairi"
Before I could even hesitate Kadachi immediately shakes Kians hand instead.
(Kadachi...He can sense the tension.)
"My fiance doesn't like much physical contact with people she doesn't know to well, I'll shake your hand instead."
Kian seems to tense up upon entering the hand shake and awkwardly laughs.
"Sure...no problem."
Kian quickly retrieved his hand as soon as he got the chance and Kadachi places his hand on my opposite shoulder.
"Tsubasa, may we have a word alone?"
Tsubasa quickly nods signaling both Kian and Karina to leave. Kadachi then looks down at me and smirks.
"Stay here, I will be right back."
I nod and he walks off to talk, he wasn't but a few feet away before I realize I needed to use the restroom. As a maid walks by I ask for directions and signal to Kadachi I'd be using the bathroom.
(She said it's just be down the corridor, take a left and it will be the second door on the right.)
As I approach the bathroom door I sigh a sigh of relief. But as I try to open the door I realize it was locked.
(Oh, it seems someone is using it. I'll just come back later then.)
As I turn to leave I gasp as I'm pushed up against the wall with my mouth covered. I try to lift my hand up but it is too pressed up against the wall behind me. It was then that I realized it was Kian in front of me.
(This isn't good, I need to get out of here!)
"Well hello there, Princess! It's been awhile now hasn't it?"
His dark and scary eyes grew even darker as he talks.
"I'm going to take my hand off your mouth but before I do let me say this! If you dare scream I will end your life right here and now, got it?"
I nod.
"Good, first thing I want to say is, if word gets out about what happened years ago, I can promise you that your life will end! Not just by me either! Also don't forget who you marrying, I can drag him down with you!"
I lower my gaze away from his but he instinctively grabs ahold of my neck and begins pressing on it.
(It's different now that there is someone else involved, I can't take that risk...No matter how badly id love to see him behind bars.)
"B****! You better acknowledge what I'm saying or else!"
He then smirks and sticks his knee against the wall between my legs and grabs ahold of my throat squeezing, I instantly tense up.
"Please…Stop!"
Kian smirks and finally let's go after a minute. I instantly collapse to the ground in a coughing fit.
"Let this be your only warning!"
(This guy…I can't go up against him like this.)
I try to hold back my tears and as soon as I hear his footsteps fade away and the bathroom door unlock I stand back up and walk inside as the person walks out locking the door behind me.
(Kadachi pov)
After talking to Tsubasa for a good minute I turn around to see if Kairi had come back, noticing she hasn't I decide to go look for her. I walk to the bathroom and knock.
(Surely she should be done by now, right?)
"Kairi, it's Kadachi are you ok?"
I could hear her clear her throat before answering.
"Yeah, I'll be out in just a second."
(Kairi pov)
I quickly fix my necklace, hair and makeup before finally walking out. Kadachi's gaze wonders over me and stopped at my neck, I quickly turned away from him.
"Let's get back before everyone notices your gone, you still need to make a few deals with some people."
(I managed to cover the redness, hopefully he doesn't notice.)
Before I could walk away Kadachi grabs a hold of my wrist stopping me from walking away and I glance at him from the side.
"Who was it, who did that to you just now?!"
I gulp and look away.
"No one, let's go back."
(If I hesitate, things will turn out a lot worse for the both of us.)
Kadachi seemed to get a bit annoyed at my response and spins me around to look at him.
"Why won't you tell me? Who hurt you just now!"
I shudder at him for yelling at me and look away. He seemed to have been hurt by either my reaction just now, or maybe by the fact I wouldn't tell him. Or by both. Kadachi instantly pulls me into a hug and sighs.
"Im sorry for yelling, let's go home I've talked to everyone I needed to tonight."
I pull away.
"But-"
Kadachi puts his finger to his lips.
"Shh, it's fine let's go."
He pulls away and leads me to the car but before we reach the exit an older gentleman approaches us, he looked to be in his 50s, He has light brown eyes and grey hair styled nicely.
"Hello Mr. Sheng, how is you parents doing these days?"
I could see Kadachi's attitude change slightly. He bows his head and I follow lead. Kadachi then responds in a gentle yet cool tone.
"Good evening Mr. Jian. They are doing well actually I was about to take my fiance home so if-"
Just then Mr. Jian chuckles and waves over a waiter who hands us both champagne glasses.
"Please, stay a while longer with me i'd like to discuss some things with you."
Kadachi sighs but politely nods after looking back at me.
"Ok, let's go sit down."
(Kadachi acts as if this person is powerful, I should watch what I say.)
We are led to a table and sit down as we all sip on our champagne.
(I have never had alcohol before but this isn't to bad, it tastes a little sweet, one glass won't hurt right?)
As they continue to talk I sit in my own thoughts thinking about random things soon realizing that I had started to feel a bit...fuzzy. I look down at my drink to see that it was gone, I then take a glance at Kirito's his was about half gone.
(Maybe 1 glass was just to much? I feel funny.)
Just then a waiter comes up and replaces my glass.
"Enjoy ma'am!"
I slightly nod but hesitate to pick it up, before I could say anything the I feel Kadachi grab my hand.
"Kairi, I don't think you need anymore, you don't look so good are you ok?"
I take notice at everyone at the table staring at me and couldn't help but feel nervous.
"I uh-yeah I'm fine…"
(Hehe this feeling does make me feel good, but…why am I starting to feel so hot and…)
Kadachi looks at me once more before his eyes slightly go wide then quickly back to normal as He turns back to Mr. Jian.
"Mr. Jian I think we have to take our leave, my fiancée seems to be coming down with a cold."
Mr. Jian looks towards me then back at Kadachi before nodding with a smirk.
"Of course, we will talk some more next time! Enjoy your night guys."
Kadachi helps me up and puts his arm around my waist to help me walk as we make our way to the car.
(Something feels off…I don't feel like this is normal.)
I pause and place my hand onto my forehead as I start to feel a bit dizzy.
"Kairi, are you ok?"
I nod and quickly sit down inside the back of the car as Kadachi gets in next to me instead of in the driver seat.
"Listen to me Kairi, I need you to tell me how you feel right now."
I thought about it for a second before shaking my head.
"I fell…confused…and hot!"
(Kadachi pov)
(Just as I suspected. I think we were given something… I need to get us home right away.)
"Ok let's go home and take a cold shower."
She nods and I get back into the front seat to drive us home.
(About 20 minutes later)
As soon as we get home I help her to my room and she sits on my bed in a dazed state.
(I should go start the shower.)
As I try to walk away I feel her hot hands grab my wrist.
"Kadachi…I'm really hot can I please…take this dress off!"
I instantly blush.
(I need to get someone else in here, we're both drugged and this won't end well if…)
Before I could finish my sentence I then start to feel the drugs affect taking control and sit down next to her.
"Damn…"
(I should have known better to trust that old geezer!)
just then I notice Kairi's dress fall to the floor and look over to see her basically naked laying back with a flushed face and eyes closed.
(Damn this women!)
Before I could realize my own actions I felt as if my body had taken control and as if I was watching it all happen like a movie. I slowly inch closer climbing on top of her. Her eyes slightly open now and our faces centimeters apart I close the gap by kissing her soft pink lips, I feel her arms wrap around my neck as I kiss her deeper to the point we both are now out of breath as I pull away to catch my breath I see a few tears leave her face and snap back into reality.
(I'm such an idiot! I need to get her in the shower now.)
I pick her up and take us into the bathroom where I take my shirt off and quickly hold her up into the shower. She instantly shrieks.
"Eek! It's cold!!"
As she clutches onto me I let out a sigh as she presses up against me.
"Kairi, listen…please back up a little."
She looks up at me and I could tell by her dazed eyes she had no idea what I was saying. She keeps staring at me with such a dazed but sad expression I couldn't help but wrap my arms around her tiny frame to try to keep her warm.
"Kadachi, thank you…"
I give a small reply back.
"I got you…"
(The next morning Kairi pov)
As my eyes flutter open I try to block the sunlight from my eyes.
(What…happened last night?)
As I try to recall the evening I immediately blush as bits and peace's are recovered, it was then that I had noticed I was in my own bed and naked.
(No…did we just?!)
I gulp and my anxiety began to take over even more as I hear a knock on the door.
"I'll be right there!!"
I quickly stand up to grab my robe not realizing how fast I was going I clumsily trip over my own foot and fall to the floor. That's when the door bursts open and in comes Kadachi who's face immediately goes pink and turns his head away.
"I uh…sorry I heard the crash and thought something happened…are you ok?"
I clear my throat as I grab my robe and put it on but as I try to stand up I wince in pain.
(I guess I fell on it really hard this time.)
Kadachi looks over to me noticing the painful look on my face and rushes over.
"Sit down an let me have a look."
I shake my head an give him a small smile.
"It's nothing, I'll be fine."
But before I could walk he places his hands on my shoulders and sits me down on the bed. He then picks up my foot and one could tell it was already getting swollen and bruised.
"Your obviously in pain why say your fine?! I'm here to help you this is what couples do!"
Stunned but his words I couldn't help but blush as he tends to my ankle.
"Ok…Thank you…"
