If the auction had been lively before, it turned almost theatrical after Jasmine Yu's entrance. Conversations overlapped with whispers, heads tilted subtly in her direction, and polite smiles bloomed like reflexes.
The daughter of the Yu family had that kind of presence — graceful without trying, untouchable yet perfectly courteous.
She stood beside Anthony now, and somehow it just looked right. Her pale gown against his dark suit — elegance meeting refinement. They didn't need words. Just standing together was enough to draw every pair of eyes in the room.
Lara leaned toward Vince, muttering, "You think they coordinated their outfits?"
Vince snorted quietly. "With their mothers probably planning their wedding already? Wouldn't surprise me."
"Vince!" Kate hissed softly, though her lips twitched like she wanted to smile.
"What?" Vince whispered back. "I'm just stating facts, Your Highness."
