It was a time of war where the resistance members remained under the shadows whilst the angels hunted them everywhere using magic sigils and chanting .
At that time the magic was not that developed.
Maria von Lopez was in the research team on the verge of a very major breakthrough which will change the trajectory of magic . For when she was a child she saw the chantless magic . She was trying everything to replicate the same thing . Without sigils and circles . Something kuch more primitive.
Even when dragons used magic they used sigils . They would gather mana in their mouth and form a circle to maintain the flow of mana and maintain the explosive power .
During the initial research , the experiments failed in catastrophic failures. For they were trying to replicate fire magic . And thus it would end in a tragic failure .
While in the other side . The King would inven lt new machines and inventions while sitting in his workshop . And he would only focus if it was in silence . And by his side was another who would roam in his workshop randomly .
The Peace Godess. For it 2ww one place which www away from any noise of soldiers training or Gods nagging or the angelic noise.
Away from everything , where the King would just sit in his chair and think about ideas and when something struck he would quickly jot it down in his book before working out in it
She would just sit quietly and watch him work . It was before the time she appointed an apostle .
She would feel at ease just the two of them there . And the peace . But things changed when they began dablling in magic which was the most unorthodox. Such as making the leaders immortal , even if it was with everyone's consent.
The Gods were still not comfortable dablling in such magic .
This was the first rift between them . And the war ended with a small victory . But at a big cost the worst betryal that could happen . The Hero Helios disappeared took the keys and vanished . This drove a feeling of betrayal in everyone's hearts .
The King would just stay in his lab silent and doing nothing he would be just in thought with the Peace Godess besides her . The King would only think about the reason that he left everything for just some keys.
The peace that the goddess used to feel had been turned into silent dread .
King :
Was everything we did all these years ago , meaningless .
He could have left a note atleast. Now how are we going to win against him. Everyone is betrayed and no one is there to fight .
King had a habit when things get stressful he would put two fingers and tap his forehead to get some answers .
And he went on tapping and tapping .
The Peace Godess worried
Peace :
I know you feel betrayed, everyone did too. But would it slow down the Elder Gods .
King :
I know , but I'm not able to concentrate on anything right now . When I see the blackboard , I only see my past of how we spend time alongside each other .
King had gotten a bright idea . He proposed to build a machine which would erase specific memories . With that he wouldn't have to worry about the betrayal .
Peace :
Strong are not those who drown themselves in their memories . But those who don't let their sorrows get the better of them .
King :
Emotionally strong right , physically I would just get beat up .
The Peace Godess believed in King that he would come around once again. That's why she silently left his abode.
Outside she decided to visit the others .
She always thought about Ikaros as the loud one . A warrior always shouting while running , swinging his sword , while giving speeches .
But it was rare to see that even after such an event . He still countinued to train. But instead of a two handed sword . He was training with a giant sword many times his size .
She didn't interfere with his training. As she finally moved in to Maria's room which she entered after knocking .
As she opened the door she discovered that Maria was sitting in the middle of an enchanted circle . The runes and the spells written on the formula looked incredibly complex .
And the circle was glowing in a red glow .and in the middle she started to float.
Levitating her eyes glowed with the same red colour . She was looking into her mind deeper into her memories .
The same memory where a man fought off the diamond beast .
The same memory she could see in all visual and colour and audio. She could feel and hear everything . She watched the each moment they used magic from their hands to fuel the magic .
And after their defeat she also saw the men ask them how did they use the magic . She just needed to focus on that part .
Jay gave an incoherent explanation. But Mcelroy gave each and every steps in detail . From passing of mana from the core to the hand into the tips and passing through the channels and then changing its form. How to control the amount of magic and its frequency .
She remembered each and every work hr had spoken
Mcelroy:
Well it's not that difficult. First you collect your mana then run it through your skin and then when you push the mana out start the conversion process . But remember the mana must be converted in order with the type of elements as it can harm the body by exposing it to the same element , such as fire or lightning . Both of them if they come in contact with your skin they could harm you . To counteract these things you can either wear non conductive materials or increase the distance by ejecting the mana at a greater speed and then delaying the conversion process by a tiny bit . And these processes are not just limited to just your hands or feet but anywhere in the entire body but these processes can be dangerous and can harm the part . Like passing mana throught the brain can affect the brain producing brain damage . Passing through reproductive organs can produce defect or produce erectile dysfunction . So doing this through arms or legs if the best safest option . You can also try torso . And then you should remember one thing that never start the conversion inside the body or the conversion in your body depending on the element can produce various harm on your body .
So these were some of the tips of how to do it .
She listened to each and every word . It felt like the entire explanation was dedicated just for her. With the simple complexities. She weaved her way through his explanation .
She knew that the moment she exist this she would forget the dream . So she had to master it in this state .
Her external body was replicating the instructions slowly and methodically given by Mcelroy. She pathed the mana from her core to her fingertips while avoiding any organs which could be damaged. Just to be safe. From her muscle to her fingertips and to the mana channels which channeled out the mana . And after that. She changed to convert the mana into the element of fire. In the start it was difficult but eventually she did it. And third was stoking the fire to maintain the fire she countinously supplied the fire with enough mana.
And when she slowly opened her eyes she saw that the fire . It was so bright and so big that it had burned the entire roof and was being emitted
She turned her senses of betrayal into her fuel which burned with the mighty flame .
In alternate timeline she had discovered the method entirely by herself. Instead of borrowing it from Mcelroy. For it would cause an Grandfather's paradox this way.
So three loops before she had discovered it entirely on her own . And then proceeded to improve it and teach it to everyone . And in the future the time is looped she learns it from herself . This preventing the paradox .
They had their most powerful weapon yet . When the Peace Godess saw the female she was horrified for it looked like a demon had possessed her . So she silently closed the door as Maria toyed with her newfound knowledge and powers .
While everyone rushed towards the flames . The Peace Godess returned whence she came . To the peaceful room .
Where even the King had started working . He was working on his own breakthrough which would carry them forward .
The method to make someone immortal . He ignored her presence and started writing in the board and if that wasn't enough he used the walls . And even when the walls were filled . He used the floor as he would etch letter after letter .
Seeing this the Goddess left the room .
And finally after many eras . The King would establish peace throughout the lands . His own project the capital became the center of commerce , liberty and prosperity , nobility and advancement .
This peace existed for many years as she would come and go anytime she wanted . And met the King. Calling him his PeaceMaker with adoration .
But everything changed. The Gods who were peaceful were now obsessed with the idea of freedom . The chains that bound them to the lands they wanted to shatter them .
Something had made them realize that they were bounded all along .
And the only way to attain this freedom was to destroy these lands . Utter and complete destruction.
And when this happened . Small scale destruction and death ensued the lands at first . Gods would walk the lands .
And chaos ensued .
Fearing this was a trick played by Kaos . She stormed in his abode . And when she did she found out that he had already walked the lands . And when he did he left a trail of Destruction in its face . For every step the lands would get distorted .
And because of this peace believed that the Gods were acting like this because of Kaos's schemes . And for stealing her peace she hated Kaos with every fiber of her being .
This eventually lead to conflicts between the Gods and the humans . Finally leading to this state .
The gods when bought destruction their powers would wane for it resulted in the decrease of faith in them .
So they needed a one time solution . And what better way there could be than to take all the mana at once and ensure a planet wide destruction. One that would obliterated the entire planet.
With this their faith wouldn't matter and they would be free from their bounds .
