"Look at those stars if you connect them it forms a constellation Ursa Minor" said Ethan to Rene looking at the night sky, lying on the balcony of Rene's New York apartment. "It looks like a cooking pot" exclaimed Rene. Ethan smiled looking into Rene's eyes at her remark. Ethan wonder how did such a beautiful lady from a wealthy family fall in love with him?
Rene was humble down to Earth but very stubborn. Ethan had actually turned Rene down in the beginning of thinking how different they were. Their interest, family background nothing matched except for their interest in art and hatred for broccoli. But Rene wouldn't take a no for an answer.
They both first met in the art gallery where Ethan worked and Rene had come as an intern. Rene was petite with shoulder length black wavy hair with grey Ombre with amber colored eyes and beautiful lips. She looked like something straight out of a magical world. Rene saw Ethan eyes followed her she flashed a smile at him. "Beautiful" he whispered underneath his breath.
After a while his boss Alex called him to office and he introduced him to Rene and asked him help Rene get adjusted to the work environment. From there their friendship started and they go to know about each other. Ethan worked in the art gallery as a part timer as to earn money and even because of his interest towards art. Rene was an art student who come from a rich family but wanted to be independent and earn her own living.
Rene's phone started ringing bringing Ethan back to reality from his little nostalgia. Rene answered the phone it was her dad he told her to visit him back in California. Rene agreed as it was over a year since she last visited him. When she informed Ethan about this he frowned and asked "How long will you be gone?". Rene replied "A week" and sat down next to Ethan cuddling and her tummy rumbled. Ethan smiled a headed straight to the kitchen "What do you want to eat?" Rene answered "Babyyyyy!!! I am on diet". Ethan walked back with a bowl full of Choco chip ice cream and fed Rene taking a few bites himself.
He couldn't sleep that night, he had a bad feeling about Rene going back to New York tomorrow. Next morning Ethan dropped Rene at the airport, hugging her he whispered "I will miss you, my love. Come back ASAP and Please be safe". Rene smiled and assured him "I will miss you more, and see you soon" they kissed a goodbye kiss. Rene left and Ethan felt empty and had same intuitive feeling again as if something than went back to college then in the evening went to the art gallery, came back to the apartment, fell asleep waiting for Rene to call.
