Chapter 38 - Day 7 (III)

"Our flight got canceled," Marvin replied.

"What? But why?" Jacob asked calmly.

We approached them again because they were already frustrated.

"Why did it get canceled?" Emmanuel asked.

"There will be a storm here in the Philippines," Karl replied.

I looked up at the sky, and the dark clouds covered the sun slowly.

"Where can we go?" Yohan asked as he sat on the floor. He looks frustrated and tired.

"You can stay in a hotel," Haye suggested.

"Yeah, she's right. You can stay there until the storms are gone." Junior added.

They took deep breaths as if they did not want to stay in the hotel.

"You can stay at Louise's house." Coleen suddenly said, so I turned my gaze to her.

"Hey! Is it your house?" I creased my eyebrows.

"Yes! You can stay there as long as you want to." Laura smiled widely.

"Louise's house is too big for her and her mom. We can also sleep in her house."

"Oh!" I slapped her on her arm. "I'm the one who owns that home, so it means I'm the only one who can decide if I will let them stay in my house."

"I already called her mom, and she's very excited to see you guys. Let's go to Louise's house!" Marie uttered excitedly.

"Finally! We will taste your mom's dishes." Ivan punched in the air.

"Wait! Did I say yes?" I asked them all.

"Not yet. But your mom said we can go to your place and stay there as long as we want." Marie said, smiling.

"It's my house. I built that house, so you should have asked my permission to stay in MY home." I emphasized myself.

"I know you very well, Louise. You're too happy because RealSeven will go to your house. Stop that acting. Hop in." Coleen said as she dragged me into the van.

I just rolled my eyes and hopped in. We also had a few hours to travel before we got home. I opened the big gate for RealSeven's van when I exited the van. The two vans we rented were already left.

"My daughter!" Mom greeted me and kissed me on the cheek.

"Hi, Auntie!" They approached my mom and gave her a pecked kiss on her cheeks.

We went inside, and I saw their reactions while looking around at my house.

"I'm still stunned how your house is well built, and the interior is still so pleasing in my eyes," Axel said while looking around.

"If you gave me a chance to stay here, I would love to, Louise," Marie said as she opened the door on the veranda.

"Then I wouldn't give u a chance." I smiled at her sweetly.

"Ma, what ti--." I heard my older brother come out of one of the rooms with his son Matthew and Ate Kate.

"Tita!" Matthew yelled as it ran into me.

I missed my nephew so much.

"Wow! Our baby." I said as I hugged him tightly. I pinched his cheek and kissed him several times.

"Who are they?" Matthew asked while pointing at RealSeven sitting on the couches.

"They're my friends. Say hi to them." I told Matthew.

"Hi." Matthew greeted them as he smiled broadly.

"Hi. You're so cute. Can I carry you?" Jacob said as he waited for Matthew to approach him.

Matthew didn't hesitate and ran to Jacob. They are adorable.

"This is my slapsoil brother Tristan and his wife Ate Kate. And their child, Matthew." I introduced them.

"Finally!" Marie exclaimed. "You guys met her family."

We looked at her, so I widened my eyes not to tease me.

"And, of course, my hardworking and not-so-beautiful mom, Lucy." I clung to her right arm.

"Hi, Auntie," Ivan said before he hugged my mom.

"You're Ivan. You're more handsome in person. Your friends too." Mama said while looking at the members of RealSeven.

Junior raised his hand. "Auntie, am I beautiful too?"

"No." My mom replied. "You're handsome too." We laughed out loud because of Junior's reaction. He hurt.

"You're too hard on me, Auntie." He faked crying.

We ignored him and let him cry on his boyfriend's shoulder. He's so dramatic.

"Matthew! Do you want to come with me?" I asked my nephew.

Matthew ran over to me, and I carried him even though he was already a big boy.

"Who's the most handsome among them?" I asked Matthew.

"They are all handsome, but the most are Kuya Jacob and Kuya Marvin," Matthew answered, and the two stood up and bowed.

Laughter filled our living room because of them all.

"Hey, monkey!" My older brother shouted. "Give me my son and help your mom and sister in the kitchen." He sat across from RealSeven, and I looked at him badly.

When I got mad, I hit his head. They were shocked at what I did to my older brother.

"Why were you here? Did you ask my permission? You fool." I said. Kuya Tristan smirked.

"I'm your boss, and you're just my employee, so why should I ask you if I can come to your house?"

"Boss my ass," I mumbled. "You stupid, moron, dimwit, dumb, and all of the bad words I have on my mind."

I took off the slippers I was wearing and threw them at him. I was still unsatisfied and kicked and pulled his hair repeatedly.

"Stop it! There are guests in the house, and then you fight in front of them? You two were fighting over useless stuff."

Before I left in front of them, I hit my older brother again and ran to my room. As I was arranging my belongings, there was a knock on the door.

"Louise, we're leaving," Rayner uttered.

I got up because I thought they would spend the night here.

"Why? With your girlfriends?" I asked as we headed back to the living room.

"We probably won't go with them. We will stay here as long as RealSeven is stranded in the Philippines." Lovie said as she leaned on the couch.

"Oh! I'm just reminding you that this isn't a hotel for you to stay in here long. Hotel accommodation is better than at home." I said.

"Louise! It's okay for them to stay here!" I heard Mama shout from the kitchen.

I let out a big sigh and just shrugged my shoulders because I had lost. "Goodbye, my baby boy!" Junior approached Rayner and kissed him.

I was disgusted by what I witnessed today. I know love wins, but why did he kiss him in front of me? It was cringed.

They bid goodbye to their lovers before I was taken them out of the subdivision. I waited for them to get a taxi before I returned home. As I was walking, heavy rain poured, so I could do nothing but feel the raindrops on my skin. It's been years since the last I felt the rain on me. These past few days, a lot of things happened to me. The memories that I'd forgotten would suddenly open. I'm like an open book again that everyone can re-read. I just smiled and danced in the rain. Let them read me.

"I'm waiting for you." I suddenly stopped when Johan appeared behind me with his yellow umbrella.

"Huh? Why?" I asked.

"I know you don't have your umbrella with you." He replied.

"Don't you see? I'm enjoying the rain." I smiled while the raindrops dripped on my face.

He just smiled at me. Johan's smile is one of the most beautiful and my favorite smiles in the world.

"Can I join you?" He asked. "Yeah! Of course!" I exclaimed.

He suddenly put down his umbrella and held my hand. I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"Let me hold your hand." He uttered.

Why does it feels like I'm safe? Is this holding hands while dancing in the rain? I can't take this anymore.

"Just this time, please?" He said again. Why do they all look so good? I can't choose one.

I slowly nodded and smiled at him. "Sure!"

We spent time together doing nothing in the rain because he was too happy to hold my hand. He looks snobbish, but Johan is a cutie when he's in love. I hope he will find the right girl that is sure of him.

When the rain stopped, we decided to take a picture before we went home because, according to him, he would keep it as one of the memories that we created. What a sentimental person. Hays!

"Oh. Where were you going? Why were you soaked?" My mom asked us.

We looked at each other before I looked at my mom again.

"We enjoyed the rain, Mom," I replied.

"Johan Hyung fetched you with his umbrella," Justin uttered.

We smiled at them before I went to the bathroom. I took a shower first, and when I got out, everyone looked at me like I had done something wrong.

"Can you please tell us what happened earlier with you and Johan?" Lovie said.

I blinked my eyes repeatedly. "Huh? We're dancing in the rain. Was it bad to spend my time with a good person?"

"There's nothing good happened to you?" Coleen added. "Nothing." I sat on the couch.

"Why?!" Marie exclaimed.

"Why, why?" I asked confusedly.

They slapped their foreheads out of frustration. I just ignored them and looked at RealSeven.

"Do you want to go upstairs?" I asked them.

"Woah! You look gorgeous today." Karl looks mesmerized.

"Flirt," I said before I stood up and went up to my working space. I even heard their laughter before they followed me.

I customized the mini living room here upstairs. That's why this is my favorite place here at home. There's a bookshelf, a desktop, a few small couches, a desk, a collection of coffee mugs, and a veranda again.

"You have a lot of books," Yohan uttered. I saw Jacob checking many books on one of the bookshelves while the others were on the veranda.

"I guess Black Pearl is your favorite author," Johan muttered while holding a book.

I just smiled at him.
