Rebecca felt betrayed.
In fact, she was quite sad as she shifted uncomfortably on the carriage chair as it teetered through the busy streets in the direction of Hina's residence.
The day of Rebecca's return to the Capital had approached rather slowly for her and she was happy to be back home. Although France was her birth home, Asahi had felt more like home to her and she had made some of the most amazing friends here, one of them being Hina. She had spent the better part of her honeymoon talking about Hina amongst other things and she could sense that her husband, Lucas, might be jealous of her friendship, which she found cute.
Climbing out of the ship at the port in the Capital, she and Lucas had headed straight home, tired from the relentless journey. She had planned to visit Hina sometime during the week, finding time to catch up with one another, but shocking news had reached her ears through the whispering maids and she could no longer wait till another day.
