As he spoke, Li Chao slowly peered into the room. The place was lavishly decorated, with the central air conditioning vent on the ceiling tattered, likely where the rats had entered the apartment.
Recalling the scene from earlier, he was quite certain that there was something wrong with those rats: "Are the rats still in the alley? Stay away from them, I have a bad feeling."
"You're joking, right? Rats killing a gang leader?" Li Hao responded on the phone, "No rat would have the guts for that. Stop joking around and come down already; let's go to the bar for a drink."
