Yin Zhan stopped on the second floor, not heading up to the third.
Su Ye rolled her neck, feeling utterly exhausted as well.
"If you have something to say, we can talk in the morning. I'm turning in."
With that, she continued up to the third floor without stopping.
She could faintly hear Song Jue's confused voice:
"Are those two pieces of coral growing on your head? Did you grow them yourself?"
Yin Zhan said nothing, simply bolting to his room and slamming the door shut with a CLICK.
Su Ye pushed open the door to her room and stepped inside.
Upon entering, she saw a folding screen adorned with a painting of courtly ladies that split the room in two.
A vanity with a bronze mirror stood on one side of the bed. There was also an empty wardrobe.
On the other side of the folding screen was a simple study.
It had a writing desk set with a brush, ink, paper, and an inkstone, with rows of bookshelves lining the wall behind it.
Su Ye looked around.
