Chapter 88 - Ok wise guy time's up

I watched as the room was rearranged for James' birthday. Jesse came in and started ordering everyone to move the furniture to his liking. The portraits had to be changed. The furniture from a different room had to be moved here. Rose called security. As he was being escorted out he lashed out at me, "Listen you. I don't know where James found you but you are leaving this house. Your time is up. You will go home so I can move in." Rose laughed as I simply waved goodbye. When the security guards dragged him out and I requested the guards to search the property for weak points of entry like secret passageways, loose bricks and so on. The security gave me an earful of excuses so I finally had enough and closed my eyes. I walked through the portal to see Zelda and Corra were playing chess in a room which was pure white. They were the only ones there. No horror and no scenery. It was a blank canvas. The chessboard was suspended in mid air. Both were dressed casually. I explained my predicament and Zelda volunteered. Corra was going to observe the situation. This will be educational for HER. SHE and I stood side by side as we watched HER disappear. I needed Corra to understand certain things or we will be in trouble. The first thing is we didn't trap HER. Father did. We wanted to integrate HER. But that request was denied.

I walked and saw the new abode. It was resplendent. This place is my favorite so far. The furniture and people are all exactly what I wanted. I have to make my sis happy. The problem is DD is dead. Now this person had better be a mister nice guy or I will make him extremely sorry. A woman in a butler's uniform asked me if I wanted anything. I told her I wanted hot chocolate and some marshmallows. She grinned, "You must be the other personality. Otherwise you would know my name. For future reference it is Rose." I grinned, "I am Zelda. Pleased to meet you. I hope we get along perfectly. I am here regarding a problem by the name of Jesse." She laughed, "It doesn't matter how many times we throw him out. He finds his way in." I smiled, "Sis mentioned. She is very sweet and too trusting. Considering the past few days I am not about to let some mentally deranged idiot destroy her peace." She asked, "So what's the plan?" I grinned, "I am going to make him believe that he has lost his marbles. Where's the attic?" She raised an eyebrow but I guess she is used to crazy ideas. She led the way.

We went up and found a trunk filled with old clothes. A floor length off white dress. With laced edges which were fraying. Then the next was a black nightgown. Gothic style and very pretty. I wore the dress and looked for a wig. There was one in black and one in gray. I had to get the knots out before styling the wig old school. Like it was the victorian era. The first order of business was to find the traitor. She believed everyone was loyal to a fault. I on the other hand wasn't so naive. I requested a simple online purchase. A spy pen to find out how he is able to do what he does. She happily played along. We made sure to walk past every servant in the house. One caught my eye so I had to smoke her out. Getting her to reveal her treachery was easier than I thought. I told Rose to change the password and keep a fake one for everyone to see. She did as I asked and we left the spy pen to prove my point. She came and took a picture before calling Jesse. She promised to be on the lookout while he admires the house he claims is his. He tried to use the code to enter but the alarm went off and woke the house. After the police took Jesse away she was fired. We had much more ease at our plan to get rid of the menace. The laundry basket was placed outside. I figured out how to hide in the pile of clothes without any discomfort and Rose placed hidden cameras and speakers all over.

We found a secret passage that he was using and a few he was not unaware of. I got a fake knife that bleeds fake blood when the blade goes over anything. We made him think there was a violent murder which occurred here. Then we started playing dress up. Whenever he shows up one of us would wear the dress and a long black wig and walk in the distance. We would roam the house or stay perfectly still. We practiced how we would disappear suddenly and reappear. We made sure he heard us say we are going out for an entire day so he waited till we were away to sneak in. We didn't leave. We just made him think we did. We used the secret path to get in and Rose got dressed. I waited till she was in position before I dropped a wooden ball down the stairs. He saw nothing so as we predicted he brushed it off. But then he heard the piano play all of a sudden. He opened the door to see nobody. He was walking down a corridor and a toy monkey began banging the symbols. A hidden speaker began to play music. He jumped up and started searching around for any signs of life. It was Rose did a good job playing ghost. I was hiding in the laundry basket watching him drench in sweat as he tried to shake off his fear. The lights dimmed and I contorted my body and made him think that a twisted monster lives here. I painted my face gruesomely and walked on my hands. Then twisted my body just the right way. I opened my mouth and a tarantula came out. He saw the scene from a few feet away and he bolted. When he came back with a golf club the place was squeaky clean. He searched for clues and found none. His favorite hidden path was temporarily blocked. So he had to improvise how he exited the property. I know for a fact that Jesse likes to eat food that is left out on the counter. I mixed in a colorless, odorless and untraceable hallucinogenic to make sure that things tip in our favor.

He drank the orange juice and ate the sandwich. This was when I played horror music and switched the lights off. The door swung open and closed. He heard drawers open and shut. He searched for a knife but found none. He tried to look for his phone but it was missing. I ran the dull end of the blade across his cheeks and he ran like crazy. Rose went to the basement and I made him go in that direction. As he went downstairs to find the power main switch. She waited till he was a few steps away from the bottom. The moment he stepped on the creaking step she stuck her hand and grabbed his leg. He fell down and hit the concrete. He was unconscious for a few minutes. The servant picked him up and carried him to the garden. He woke up and was surprised to be outside. He remembers being inside but clearly he wasn't. This infuriated him and he tried to get in but the password was changed. He saw a woman in a white dress and another in a black dress. Both on different ends of the house. He blinked and we both dove. He opened his eyes to see nobody and he yelled in fear. We quickly got dressed and snuck out. We arrived and called the police. He demanded proof that we were outside. His theory was we were playing dress up to get rid of him. We showed him tickets to the opera and a picture of us at a restaurant. The officer wished us goodnight as he dragged Jesse out. The security spread a rumor about Jesse going insane.

James was seen walking across the garden. The security called to mention Jesse was seen in the garden. I laughed, "There must be loose bricks here or there. He can't walk through walls. James please forgive us for the prank we are about to pull" Rose and I went upstairs and changed. We both wore roller skates so we could glide across the room with ease. We took our position and waited. James was at the front when Jesse came demanding money. James told to take a hike and the yelling commenced. We took turns standing perfectly straight as we slid across the room. Jesse saw us and shrieked. James looked back and saw nothing. He told Jesse to have himself checked out and security took him away. We went upstairs and stood by the window as he was dragged out. He yelled and the security who were in on the prank pretended not to see anything. They flipped him over and we ducked. He yelled the place is haunted. The security had double their efforts as he tried to give them the slip. He was escorted out and was warned to stay away from the house. The police took him away and he was yelling like crazy. Security recommended a seventy two hour hold up at the hospital's mental health department. The men saw he was deteriorating so they took him for a check up.

James was walking upstairs when someone told him about the prank. He saw his cousin and the two had a laugh. He grinned, "It seems stealing you was what the doctor ordered. She has been doing much better since you came." Rose grinned, "We connected" he laughed at the prank and asked exactly what my end game was. I smile, "He either quit this harassment or I will make sure he ends up in a straight jacket." Rose liked the idea. James puckered his lips, "What if you just killed him?" I smiled, "He refuses to see reason. I don't kill someone just because they piss me off. I am interested in punishment. I have lost interest in playing nice. I am going to get him out of our lives and he will live to understand the consequences." Rose seems ok with it. James was staring with mixed emotions. I caressed his face and told him, "The solution to every problem isn't murder. Sometimes a little fear goes a long way. It is called the scared straight program. I remember hearing something like that in high school. The delinquents in school were taken to prison and the inmates scared the hell out of them. I know someone peed their pants." Rose and James laughed, "That won't work here. The parents would flip." I shrugged, "Things got bad enough so the parents had to sign a consent form. This would convince the kids to behave or their destination is possibly jail" this was news to them.

The next night Jesse came James happily played dumb as we glided behind him pretending to be spooks. Then I hid in the closet waiting for him to walk by. I am a trained ventriloquist so I made him think there was a ghost. Fishing wire was used to make the drawers open. I opened the closet door and shut it all of a sudden. I requested the door make a creaking sound so it would give him heart palpitations. He came and searched the closet but I had slipped behind the secret compartment so he found nothing. He heard a moaning and he asked who was here. James came out and asked, "Who is responsible for these rude interruptions. Jesse please stop your nonsensical intrusions." Rose glided behind in the black nightgown and gray hair. She had a specific pose. Her head tilted sideways and her hands folded delicately like she was holding something precious. I quietly snuck out and dressed in white and wore the raven hair wig. I had spent time with cadavers so I painted my face to resemble one. The wig was undone so he can't see my face. The tarantula was placed in my mouth and I stood on the carpet which was pulled. They timed it perfectly so I stopped behind James. Jesse screamed, "Intruder" I smiled as James turned with the air of boredom, "I see no intruder. Get your eyes checked." I hissed and opened my mouth. The spider came out and Jesse ran in the other direction. He screamed, "Ghost. This place is haunted. This place is haunted" the police came and he screamed how he saw things. The house was restored to its original state so the police found nothing. So their conclusion was simple. Jesse has lost his marbles or he is trying to dupe the residents so they will vacate the property. So an ambulance arrived to take him to the psychiatric hospital. James was laughing and so were the rest of the servants. Rose gave me a hug and I hugged her back. James and I went to bed and Rose went for a swim.
