Chapter 81 - this is unexpected

I was about to say something when Tanya started swearing she asked me why she wasn't in the loop. She wanted to know why I didn't tell her about the rapist situation. I reminded her that she was one who discovered Melanie's police report. She froze for a moment and recalled that she was making sure she wasn't an acolyte of the enemy. She apologized profusely and the enterprise promised to help fight these people. The nerds started tracking the bad guys and soon the meet was discovered. I called Van Pelt and told her about the meeting so she and a few officers that I trust placed themselves in a specific location and sent a drone to watch these bad guys in action. The terror began and things got from bad to worse when one of them shot her in the head. One officer couldn't stand the screaming of the other women in chains so he barged in and the others followed. The evil men were rounded up like cattle and corralled to the police station. The men wanted to know who the whistleblower was. But thankfully the officers said that it was an anonymous tip. They lied through their teeth saying that they were there to find a guy who had fled after murdered his wife. The captain backed them up. The drone recorded the entire scene their lawyer couldn't save them.

I told Van Pelt that she needs to be seriously careful. Her brother said that he has already made arrangements so I have nothing to worry about. I thanked him as I stepped out covertly. They were being sent to jail. I happily watched as they were lined up in orange jumpsuits as they dragged their legs towards the van. The entire time Melanie kept saying he will get out. I told her that I am hoping he does because I will have him captured on his route to wherever he feels safe then I am going to have a field day with him. This put a smile on everyone's faces. After a few cheers of approval later we decided how we were going to grab him. Some said to hack the vehicle so the autopilot will take him close to his house then the doors will lock up and take him elsewhere. The windows can be tinted so no one can hear his pleas for help. It will take some doing to make it sound proof but the engineers seemed to think that they can get it done in four hours. The next plan was if he gets out before the car is tailored to this situation. This new scenario involved blocking the road with all sorts of vehicles. Masked people will pop out with guns and used tear gas and buzz saw to cut through the car door and yank him out. He will be dragged out and stuffed in one of the vehicles. We will be considered fugitives. Once he is captured we will have to play a shellgame and use every vehicle we can get our hands on to block the police from nabbing him. While making sure they have no clue who is involved in the nabbing. We had to figure out his weight so that no one can use weight distribution to figure out which one he is in. The tests began and everyone was prepped. The mercenaries we hired were briefed and they got ready to pounce.

The three of us went to have lunch at a bistro nearby when a phone call took me by surprise. It was Henry. Apparently he was alive so I asked him to prove it. I asked what he did when the last time Dimka came over to our house demanding that I divorce my husband. The other side went mute and he said what he did was irrelevant. I told him that if he can't answer a simple question then he can forget about it. He took a deep breath and said that there is no one named Dimka in my life. I laughed as I remembered the day I went shopping for my mother-in-law in-law. I remember seeing someone resembling Henry at a distance as Dimka grabbed me. I said that I know for a fact that he heard him scream the name Dimka. So I told him to lose my number. I told him if he says wait a minute or doesn't answer me in the next few minutes I will walk over to the nice police station I worked in and have this call traced. I started counting and he started fumbling. I reached ten and hung up. Van Pelt came and I gave her the number requesting a trace since someone is pretending to be a dead person to instigate some sort of trouble. She traced the call to the flat iron districts. Police officers showed up and arrested the perp and that was the end of that.

Melanie kept staring and I smiled, "Don't worry dear. That creep is counting down his last moments on this earth. He will be punished and dissolved before he is flushed down the toilet. He will join his rightful in the sewers." Melanie gave me a knowing smile. I shrugged, "You have to give justice a chance. If all else fails we kick butt." She gave me a wink and drank her coffee. I sat down to watch the cars go by drinking my hot chocolate. Melanie asked me why I don't drink coffee or something stronger. I told her about my abusive dad and as far as coffee was concerned it involved someone trying to molest me. The smell of strong coffee was the trigger that woke Corra up. SHE went on a killing spree that almost earned me a bullet to the head so I avoid things that would trigger HER. I drank a glass of water with plenty of ice. I sucked on an ice cube and then crushed it with my teeth. I ate my burger and Cleo asked me how old I was. I shrugged, "Thirteen" Melanie coughed her coffee all over the table so I used a wet wipe to clean up the mess.

We were on our way back to my penthouse and when the message came that the evil orchestrator of the humiliation ritual was out so we turned the car around. I asked everyone to take their positions. It turns out the enterprise got him out and had a mercenary collect him from jail. I felt a wave of unease so I looked in the mirror. Corra's reflection was furious. SHE was beyond angry. SHE looked like SHE wanted to hurt him badly. SHE just couldn't decide how it can be done. We arrived at the agreed location and I changed into a hazmat suit. So did the others. I sharpened my knives. I took a deep breath and switched places. Corra and Zelda were racing to get to the portal leading to the outside world. I reminded Corra that SHE has less experience so we will let Zelda handle it. SHE can handle the next one. SHE asked how SHE could do anything if we keep sidelining HER. So I stepped aside and told HER that this specific person is the only one SHE is allowed to kill. If SHE kills anyone else then history will repeat itself. This isn't a threat just a friendly reminder. SHE saw how cautious I was so SHE nod HER head. As SHE was heading out I wished HER luck. SHE gave me a grin and walked out.

I woke up and ordered the nearest to clear the table. The men were ready. The creep was dragged. I told the men to place him on the table and hold him down. Melanie was brought over and she asked him if he recognized her. He made some derogatory comments and I waved my hand. She stepped aside and I placed a piece of clothes over his face. I tilted my head and Melanie came and tried to hold the cloth. I told her to pour the bottle of water on his face. She was shaking head to toe as she poured it the first time. I pulled the cloth off and asked to apologize. He refused so I placed the cloth over his face again. This time she moved with some form of courage. She practically shoved the bottle where he mouth was and squeezed the bottle. This forced the water out a little bit harder. He writhed in pain. I asked her if she is ready to say goodbye to the most painful part of her life. She said yes so I gave her a pair of gloves and a knife. She put it in and grabbed the knife with her hands shaking. I grabbed it for support and we positioned it above his heart. I told her to take a deep breath. Halfway during her inhalation I shoved the knife. She shrieked and I told her to calm down and she took a couple of deep breaths. She shook my hand off and stabbed him multiple times. She stopped when she felt it was enough. I ordered the men to drag him over to a vat of acid. He was lowered gently. Once he was submerged the top was closed and he was sent to an abandoned building. Once his remains were dissolved completely he will be flushed down a toilet.

I sat down and switched places. The portal opened to show a blood caked floor with upturned furniture and a fireplace that was broken. The flame was fighting to stay lit. On the coffee table sat two people. The two were grinning like they were proud of me. Zelda gave me a pat on the shoulder and SIS gave me an encouraging smile. And somehow I felt a sense of resentment. All this time I thought they hated me. I thought papa was the hero. Nope. Papa was the bad one who imprisoned me. SIS let me out because SHE wants me to be free. I am letting go of any and all plans to hurt them. When I first escaped all I thought was how I would exact my revenge. But now I am made aware of how things turned out I am going to protect them like they had protected me. I sat down and SIS went to the real world. SHE waved as SHE disappeared. I woke up to see a few people stare weirdly. A few looked ready to perform CPR. I blurted that out and Tanya laughed with delight, "Hello Pam. Feeling better?" I replied that I would like to clean this mess since I prefer this incident to remain a cold case. I asked for cleaning liquids and started sterilizing the place. The others watched as I used a black light to find any residue. After the place was thoroughly cleaned I hopped in the van and scrubbed it too. Then I changed back to my clothes. Cleo was waiting for me and so did Melanie. I told her not to worry as I had ordered a sniper to shoot down the rest in that jail so there will be none left to continue. Unless she prefers a face to face confrontation. She said she prefers a face to face so I ordered the sniper to stand down. We walked out planning the next round of punishment after I told the mercenaries to never mention this incident even in passing. Loose lips is a serious problem that is neverending. The soldiers promised to shut up so I happily hopped in my car and drove to my apartment.
