On the 201st stair, Ace stood motionless.
He wouldn't overlook a new phenomenon, especially one that had appeared within the Evernight Ascension Stairway.
The first stage had refined his will, and the second had placed his soul under increasingly terrifying pressure, allowing his Cultivation Heart to respond and gradually refine his Primordial Foundation.
Now, the third stage seemed to have discovered another part of his existence: most likely his Laws!
'Interesting...'
Ace slowly closed his eyes, and he didn't immediately resist the pressure with all his strength. Instead, he allowed it to sweep through his existence, carefully examining how it interacted with his soul, his Primordial Foundation, and the Laws he had comprehended.
The instant he did so, his consciousness plunged into darkness. Ace opened his eyes, only to discover that he was no longer standing on the Evernight Ascension Stairway!
