"So, Rhain.. What do you have for me?"
"The scouts sent word..."
Seth's brows furrowed. Why didn't Mabon make mention of it? He pushed that thought to the back of his mind as he made an excuse for his uncle. Perhaps, he would bring it to him later. But Seth liked that he was going to hear about it early. That was how it was supposed to be.
"The Red Army is close to Taterra..." Rhain said.
"How close?" Seth asked.
"A day, sir," replied Rhain. "Soldiers are talking about going back to Predor... Four of them to be exact."
"Hmm," Seth hummed. The greatest sin a soldier can commit is to desert the army. It couldn't be forgiven, especially by Seth. It had been some years after the war and so much information had been gathered by the troops. There was no way he would allow those soldiers to go scot-free. He recalled when something like this happened some years ago. Seth thought that would have driven some lessons into the heads of the men. Apparently not, Seth concluded.
