"I have a score to settle with Sek's mother... the queen," Seth began, "and that was what I was there for. I do not know how Sek got to hear about it but he was there before I could even do anything. He was there to stop me," Seth finished.
"Stop you? From doing what?"
"From killing Zyne... from killing his mother."
Ruby could not believe her ears. She could not believe that what she had heard was what Seth had actually said. She glared at him and blinked her eyes slowly.
"Wha-what do you mean by-what are you saying, Seth? I do not understand you... help me understand you, " Ruby pleaded.
"She killed my mother, Ruby. I can not let that go," Seth said curtly.
"Are you joking with me right now?"Ruby asked Seth. She knew that his mother was nowhere around and he had never mentioned to her that his mother was late. Seth had told her that he never knew his mother so she was finding it hard to correlate the current information that he was telling her at that moment.
