The hall had become all but empty for the Sky God as she looked toward Truthseer, wind and space moving to wrap around him. She wanted to grab onto him and squeeze him for all the information she could, but with three Half-Gods standing in between her and Truthseer, she could do nothing.
"Newheaven!" the Golden God nearly shouted her name. "What are you doing? I cannot believe you would try to kill him for revealing your crime."
"No, you don't understand," Newheaven said. "He knows what I did. The implications of that are much bigger than you can imagine."
"Then explain it to us."
Newheaven breathed in and out, trying to determine how much she should say.
"Don't bother, Sky God," the Mind God said before she could continue. "You will easily figure out the truth with any amount of thinking, so I might as well tell you. He was my master."
Newheaven's eyes widened to a look of horror. The other gods turned, confused regarding what was being talked about between the two.
