It was difficult for any of the gods to believe what they had just heard to be true. However, with the Sky God confessing to her crime, there was no doubt left for anyone to have. And so, every god in the hall understood the truth right then.
The biggest theft known to humankind had been orchestrated by none other than the Sky God.
It was a degree of truth that took the gods time to fully take in. It washed over them like ocean waves, realization coming over them one after another, each one more harrowing and more damning than the last.
After all, the Sky God wasn't just another god. She was the leader of the gods, the one who made the decisions that the other gods followed. That had been the case since time immemorial, and everyone expected it to be that way for generations to come.
However, with the Sky God's actions, no one truly knew how to feel about it.
