Yang Renye's unexpected arrival into the room caused more than a few people to raise their eyes in surprise.
Many of the gods knew who this person was, as more than a few of them had been here a mere two thousand years ago when Yang Renye's return had been announced, along with many of the items that he had stolen from the treasury.
Many of them had asked for his head, but because he was the Sky God's disciple, he wasn't killed or crippled. Instead, the Sky God had made a promise to them all to imprison him until time's end, and so far as they were aware, she had kept her word regarding that.
The man had next to no visitors, and was forced to remain in one courtyard for all of his life.
Because of that, his presence in the room surprised quite a few people.
That wasn't the only thing that was surprising about his appearance, however. Yang Renye had a dull look to him at the moment, as though he wasn't really aware of where he was or what he was doing.
