His stomach grumbled
"Ahh..I am hungry, I am walking into the forest for few hours I didn't see any beast"
Zheng Jiayi complained. He is already malnourished becuse of experiments. The researchers didn't give him food only elixirs. He heard growling sounds from his stomach.

His ears perked up. He walked towards the sounds. After nearing the sound, he climbed a tree.
"Oh! It's ice wolf. I read it in the library when I am in the Zheng clan"
Zheng Jiayi said. He always stayed in library and read books books he can't cultivate.
'Ice wolf are 4-5 feet wolves which use the ice element. Ice elements is advanced stage of water element. Ice wolves mostly move in packs. This pack contains 6 wolves. 2 already killed and 4 alive. Ice wolves are normally know for their agility and their ice element. They have less intelligence. Their cultivation is in early stage of vicious beast.'
'What are these wolves doing?'
he zoomed the area where are the wolves are gathering and found a mercenary is fighting with the wolves. The mercenary looked like a middle aged man with burly figure and he had a skeleton batch on his chest. 'His qi Cultivation stage is in 5th level of Foundation realm and his body cultivation is in peak layer mortal Flesh realm.'
'Well, I will wait for the ice wolves to exhaust his qi and energy'.
he planned and waited in top of tree for the right time.
The four Ice wolves surrounded him. The Ice wolf in the back pounced at him. The mercenary spun his sword backwards.
"Mountain Smash!"
he shouted. His qi covered the broad sword and it smashed the wolf's head. The wolf headed blasted to pieces with blood sprayed.
Taking this chance, the wolf in front pounced at him. He blocked the wolf with his broad sword. The other two wolves used ice spear. Ice Spear is special skill for Wolves.
He sensed the ice spears and dodged one of the ice spear but unfortunately one ice spear pierced his leg.
"ughh!!..."
he muffled and kicked the wolf in front of him and jumped backwards.
The three ice wolves pounced towards him at the same time. He tightly gripped his broad sword and used 4/5th of his qi,
"Mountain heavy Slash!!",he swinged his heavy sword towards the three wolves. His qi covered his broad sword. He swung his sword from one side to another side with his full force.
*Bam* *BAM* *BAM*
Half of the body of ice wolves blasted because of the force
"Hua...Hua..",
the mercenary is heavily breathing. He is heavily injured. He checked his dantian for remaining qi.
'I only have small amount of qi. I already used my qu replenishing pills and healing pills. I need to collect the materials of ice wolves and leave this place',
the mercenary thought and speedend his process.
In the top of tree. Zheng Jiayi watched the battle.He smiled evily.
"My time has come"
He jumped from the tree and landed some distance away from the mercenary. The mercenary became alert when he saw Zheng Jiayi nearing him. He stood in his fighting stance.
"I...I...I did not come here to rob the ice wolves!",
Zheng Jiayi hurriedly said to him. But he is acting like he is afraid of that mercenary.
'Oh, His expression looks like he is saying the truth'
The mercenary thought and asked him in a domineering tone,
"The why are you here?"
"I just lost my way and accidentally arrived here", he said in a afraid tone.
"Boy it's your bad luck, Leave your things and leave this place",
the mercenary checked Zheng Jiayi cultivation. But when he checked there is no cultivation or any other qi fluctuations around him. The mercenary though he was wearing
artifact to hide his cultivation.
'He should be in qi cultivation realm.I hit a jackpot', the mercenary thought because Zheng Jiayi looks young.
"Why?..I have to give my...things to you?", said Zheng Jiayi in afraid voice.
"heh!,Hey boy do you see this badge,I am from skull mercenaries. You leave your things and scram from this place", the mercenary sneered.
the mercenary said in a arrogant tone .
"But..but, I don't have anything to give", said Zheng Jiayi to the mercenary.
The mercenary didn't believe him and became angry. The mercenary is hot-tempered.
"Boy, You're seeking death!", he roared and dashed toward Zheng Jiayi. Without using his qi the mercenary slashed his broad sword towards him using body cultivation force.
When the broad sword neared Zeng Jiayi. Zheng Jiayi smirked.Zheng Jiayi crouched and punched his stomach .

the mercenary hit the tree heavily and spurted out Zheng Jiayi neared him.
"Boy, Don't you dare do anything to me!!...or else the skull mercenary will not let you leave alive" , the mercenary said in some fear in his voice.The mercenary used his backing.
Zheng Jiayi arrived in front of the mercenary and said in a mocking tone
"So what", before the mercenary could say anything. Zheng Jiayi kept his hands on his head and said,
"Devour!"
