Zheng Jiayi walked towards the city gate. When he neared the gate
"Stop!"
He was stopped by a two guards.
"Show me your identification pass!", the gaurd said to Zheng Jiayi.
"I dont have the identification pass, This is the first time i come to city. I lived in the mountain with my master", Zheng Jiayi said in soft innocent tone.
The gaurds faced each other and grinned. By looking at his dress they thought he is rich with no cultivation.
"You need pay 200 gold coins!", said one of the gaurd.
"But, I heard from my master the registration fee is 200 silver", said Zheng Jiayi.
"Boy, We are the law in city entrance. It is our choice to let someone in and out", the gaurd said
surrounding people saw this cursed the gaurd but no one dared to stop the gaurds
"Poor boy, he's going to be cheated by the gaurds"
"The gaurds will never change"
"To think they are shameless"
The gaurds heard it and acted like they didn't hear it.
"And you also look suspcious. Come with us for investigation", the gaurd turned towards Zheng Jiayi and said in a cold tone.
The both gaurds is at 10th layer of qi condensation realm.
Zheng Jiayi was speechless by their shameless acting skills. He decided to see what are they planning and followed them .
The both gaurds took him to a underground prison.
"You guys told you were just going to investigate me!", said Zheng Jiayi in an angry tone.
One of the gaurd said him
"Boy, You are fooled by us!"
The gaurd eyed the pouch hanging in Zheng Jiayi waist and said
"Give the pouch to us and we will set you free"
Zheng Jiayi hesitantly took his pouch and gave it to them.
Before he could give his pouch, the gaurd snatched his pouch and looked inside it.
The both saw 30 gold coins with greed in their eyes.They splitted the money and kept in their own pouches.
"Um..Can I leave this place?", Zheng Jiayi asked in soft innocent tone.
"How dare you bribe us!!", shouted the gaurd and kicked him inside the prison.
The gaurds locked the prison and left the place.
'It seems like they will not be able live tommorow", thought Zheng Jiayi thought with a broad smile plastered on his face.
Inside the prison he saw and young man at his age curled in a fetal position. His body is covered in wounds.
His blood is oozing out of his mouth. His breathing is slow and and getting weaker.It seems like he was going to die soon.
Zheng Jiayi did not even have a single ounce of pity towards the young man.
Because of the experiments his emotions are all erased from him. He is just putting a facade emotions on his face to deceive people.
He was very tired from travelling constantly without taking a break.
He walked towards the bed .The bed is made up of stone and there are haystack in top of the stone bed.
He slept on the haystack and closed his eyes to get some sleep.
At night,
Few hours after Zheng Jiayi slept,
Zheng Jiayi suddenly opened his eyes and looked towards the young man who was in fetal position with an interesting look on his face.
