"[You know how they are with touching others]," Khan explained. "[They saw Jenna do it, so they gave it a try]."
"[Your Papa and I are taking a break]," Liiza muttered in a childish tone to Yeza, holding her before her face. "[Mama has to get touched by a lot of Nele for a while]."
Liiza had retracted her cold presence to avoid making Yeza cry, but her remarks remained chilling for Khan. His body couldn't be tenser as he hugged Liiza from behind, trying to quell her terrible, dangerous mood.
"[I wasn't even touched by that many of them]," Khan recalled, diverting his gaze to try to come up with an exact number, only for the temperature to drop again.
Khan lowered his gaze as an even colder sensation shone on his face. If looks could kill, Liiza would have already wasted him many times over, but he only got lost in that beautiful, dangerous expression.
