Amethyst and Triton had been growing progressively stronger as they trained. Amethyst had trained extensively and become strong enough to defeat Umbral, but her training didn't stop there.
With Triton around, she had a capable sparring partner who could grow alongside her and wasn't overwhelmingly stronger like Drake was.
Their personalities clashed often during training, but they began to grow accustomed to each other's presence. They even learned each other's techniques, creating new techniques to counter one another, which helped them develop faster.
Drake also brought them to the Sea Dragon Realm for more training and hunting. He even brought his children and wives after they insisted on coming and training as well. Due to her pregnancy, Yuki mostly observed from the sidelines, but she enjoyed it nonetheless.
