January of the fourth year of Silver Moon.
The cold winter had gradually passed, and the snow had begun to melt. Clear water flowed through the mountain streams.
New leaves sprouted on the branches.
In the gentle breeze, the lush green forest swayed lightly like ocean waves. Reflecting against it was the grand scale of Giant Snake City.
Indeed, on a grand scale.
Strictly speaking, Giant Snake City was situated in the mountains, not an ideal place for building a city of such grand scale, but Jones managed to build it anyway.
At the center, a massive arched castle stood atop a high mountain. It looked like an egg half-buried in the ground, with nine towers on the "eggshell" top overlooking the entire city. These towers symbolized the nine heads of the Hydra. The center was hollow, allowing rain to reach the interior and forming a small lake at the castle's center.
