A young man, passed by, saw the two soliders smirked as he saw no-good intent against the girl they were holding. He was with a hood and as he stood in front of the soldier at the right side, he slid down his hood and started to confront the soldiers.
"It's none of my business but.. this isn't right"
"And who are you?"
With such raged have asked that interfered the soliders before they leave, respond to the young man who questioned their acts.
"I'm not an important person, but the one you were both holding to is a young woman and a civilian. I can sense that you no good intention towards her"
"You can't question us nor be judged by your sense. We're the one who takes care of a criminal and you have nothing to do about it"
"I heard what she said about the victim and the witness, she's being accused with something, is she? and I don't see what she have requested with her, if granted, there should be someone beside her here."
"Can you--"
He pushed the young man which made him move aside and spoke when the soldiers with Selene moved forward.
"I supposed that you have nothing to do with her. I have a strong connection with the general. If don't let go of her now this will be reported"
Turned around facing the young man.
"Who are you?"
"You have nothing to do with me"
"I don't believe that you have a connection with the general"
As the soldier talked, he continued walking and pushed Selene inside, she was looking at the young man who tried to save her as the wooden door closed and they proceeded to leave.
Sigh.
"Good thing I remembered their faces"
and leave.
No words were coming out from their mouth, sitting quiet until they arrive to their specific destination. The carriage stopped in front of a dark cave. The soldier held the door to let Selene go down and the other gripped her arm as she wasn't following the one.
Selene's eyes looks terrified, the fear within her crawls through her nerves as she was paralyzed. Muted by the fear, rage, and despair looking straight at the place where she was about to be dispatched. She was being grabbed and shouted but none of those made Selene back to her senses.
....
"HEY!! SNAP OUT OF IT!"
Her eyes were open-wide furious as it began moving looking straight to the soldier who yelled and whose desperately pulling her to step outside.
Which finally, made her voice out.
"Futile."
"What??--"
Selene started to hold the hands of the soldier whose holding onto her right which she pulled near and made him smacked down from the front chair. One outside was surprised and started pulling his gun out, pointing straight to Selene. She smiled.
Her sharp teeth started showing as she smiled at the soldier which made him tremble. Selene was about to go out when she held the gun tightly and started to toss it down backwards. He's stepping backwards, made him nervous, feeling fear while he looks straight to the eyes of which he can identify as a 'predator'.
She clenched his hands onto his neck.
"I-I'm sorry, please do-don't do this..."
; breathing heavily, tearing.
It was cold. The wind started swirling around. The smile from her face still appears.
Selene pushed the soldier aside leaving him alive. However, the fear. It wasn't gone until she walks away getting rid of them. The soldier sitting where Selene threw him off was catching his breath holding his neck.
His neck turned purple and slowly turned red. He lied down crying. A strong aura didn't left with Selene, he thought about nothing but just blue clouds above the sky as he was seeing morning instead of the actual time.
It was somewhere she didn't knew but still continued to walk further until she catches her breath in a strong wind that lets her hair covers her face. As soon as she reached near city, she saw the only tree at that place where you can sense people and bricks that smells familiar starting at the first day.
She halted. As she stare for a while bringing her hands into her pockets, starting to feel the breeze of the wind as the rain poured down to her lips making her feel calm and fragile.
