When it came to discovering the whereabouts of Grandpa and the blonde-haired girl, the people of the temple searched every shadowy nook and hidden passage of the sprawling underground town, peering behind crates, beneath old staircases, and into dimly-lit alcoves, hoping to uncover even the smallest clue to their location.
It would seem to Grandpa that their hiding space was sufficient.
So, after taking a deep breath, he began questioning the blonde-haired girl.
"The hell do you want?" He said with malicious intent, clicking his teeth. "You're either on my side or not; there is no middle ground."
"When did I say anything about the middle ground?" The girl said, summoning a bright golden light to shine through the dark corner. "I know that your soul has swapped, I can feel and sense it. It seems to me… you're NOT Asahi."
Silence formed between them. A tension bubbled up, slowly dissipating as he proceeded to talk some more.
