Chapter 36 - | The Legacy and the "Muse" Identity 6

Minty: "You called him your muse in that poem. Since you've spent this whole interview being the muse for Iboni's book, how does it feel to flip the script and realize that he was your muse first? Does it make you feel more connected to Iboni now, knowing that you both looked at someone you loved and felt that same urgent need to turn them into ink just to survive the feeling?"

[The audience is leaning in, hanging on every word of this final, deep dive into the soul of the girl behind the book.]

Yvonne: "Girl! He's been my muse ever since I fell for his laughter! He's been the inspiration and motivation of each and every poem that I've ever written that Iboni published! And yes, we're friends because both of us always have the urge to turn our feelings into ink to let it out. Well, at least for me is to let it out. I'm pretty sure Iboni's writing have much more purpose than mine."

[The audience is leaning in, hanging on every word, their faces a mix of kilig and deep respect. Minty looks at Yvonne, her eyes reflecting the studio lights, her expression shifting from the high-energy host to a genuine friend.]

Minty: "The laughter... it's always the laughter that gets us, isn't it? That's the spark that starts the fire. And don't you dare diminish your purpose, Yvonne! Letting it out is a purpose. You're showing everyone that you don't have to be a professional to have feelings that are worthy of being immortalized. You're the heartbeat of this whole story."

[Minty checks her notes, her smile turning a bit more contemplative as she prepares to transition.]
