The smile on Bertha Swift's lips couldn't be suppressed as she looked at the sparkling eyes of Adam Piers.
Adam Piers, after his outburst, realized the woman beside him had no intention of admitting her mistake, but instead laughed joyfully. He couldn't help but poke Bertha Swift's forehead, "You still have the nerve to laugh?"
"Have you eaten yet?" Bertha Swift tilted her head slightly, suddenly asking Adam Piers.
Adam Piers was caught off guard, instinctively shook his head, then heard Bertha Swift smugly say, "You haven't even eaten and yet you have the nerve to comment on me?"
"I... you can't compare yourself to me. I'm so healthy." Adam Piers started out a bit guilty, but quickly found a reason for himself, and was quite justified.
Bertha Swift shushed him, "Who caught a cold last time?"
