" Ok , so basically what your saying is that , this soul contract is something that lets me gain total control over you , if you don't listen then I could kill you , and if I die then you also die , right " asked Ren .
" Yes , that is how it is , but there's more " answered the wolves
" What there's more , man I hope your not ripping me of or something ?" said Ren .
" No I'm not , there really is more " said the wolf desperately.
" ok fine , please explain " said Ren
" a soul pact is when we bind our souls together , by doing so we will eternally be under your command , but that much you already know , what's more as you get stronger , we will also get stronger "exclaimed the wolf in a sincere tone .
" ok , where am I going to keep you guys , I mean there's more than thirty of you right now plus I'll also have to feed you " said Ren .
" wow , this human is really different, normally if we were to say this to another human , they would do it without thinking of the consequences " thought the wolf . " we can stay here , and hunt for food ourselves " said the wolf .
" Ok so these guys really aren't trying to pull a fast one , well fine let's just do this " thought Ren .
" Fine let's do this " said Ren in an assured tone .
Then the wolf proceeded to tell him how it's done . For this procedure , one must first make a special symbol some where , it is not too complicated but not that easy either . After the symbol is made , the two party's must pour a drop of blood in the symbol , after wards the contract will be formed .
The wolves quickly made the symbol and it was now time to pour the blood . Ren poured a drop of his blood , and the wolf who told Ren about the soul pact poured a drop of his blood as well , after the blood made contact with the symbol , Rens drop expanded and spread through all the lines in one half of the symbol and the same happened to the wolf's blood after the whole symbol was filled it started to shine , on one side where Rens blood fell , all the lines that made up the symbol shined a blue glow , while the other half shined a red glow , after a few more seconds the whole symbol started shining a white glow and an energy started coming out of the symbol and continuously poured inside Ren and the wolf until the symbol dissipated .the pact was formed
Immediately after the pact was formed , Ren felt some kind of connection with the wolf , it was as if he had known this wolf for a long time , but while Ren was making heads and tails of the situation , suddenly the wolf started to glow in a brilliant white light and it's body started to expand , it's muscles and bones were growing stronger and the wolf was getting bigger , it stopped growing after reaching 2 metres tall , and things seemed to become calm until suddenly another light started radiating from the wolf , but this time it was not just the wolf but Ren as well , Ren was confused about his current situation but he guessed that something must've happened due to the soul pact , so he just calmed down and used the breathing technique to examine himself . What he sensed shocked Hime greatly , he was under going an evolution .
There were three stages in a knights training , they were minor accomplishment stage , major accomplishment stage and finally the legendary grand accomplishment stage .
From what Ren knew from Levi's memories , he knew that just awakening a qi core was rare and once you gained good control over combat qi , you would be considered to be in the minor accomplishment stage . Which was good on its own , but the higher stages were extremely rare , the major accomplishment stage was something that only a few knights in history were able to achieve , while knights that were able to achieve the grand accomplishment stage were unheard of .
The fact that Ren was about to achieve the major accomplishment stage , overjoyed him but he was still fully concentrated .
His combat qi core was getting denser and denser in combat qi and it's color which was Blue was getting darker , this continued for a few hour and then it stopped , and then the qi core started releasing shockwaves like when he first awakened his qi core , but these shockwaves were noticably stronger , and of course the pain felt was also increased tremendously .
After some time , the shockwaves had stopped and all the impurities were expelled from his body and like when he first awakened his qi core , a hard substance formed a layer on top of his body and after sometime started cracking and falling .
Finally , after some time the layer had completely fallen of his body . Ren could already tell he was way stronger than before , he closed his fist tightly and a bang sound erupted from it , just by this display it became apparent how strong Ren had become , but there was something more , Ren released his combat qi and there were noticable changes .
His combat qi was still blue in colour but it had become darker , and looked way less ethereal and translucent , but there was still something he felt he was Missing , that's right , he suddenly remembered something from Levi's memories , he tried compressing the combat qi in his right arm and instantly it hardened and turned into a gauntlet , Ren was shocked that it was true , in Levi's memories there were rumors that knights at the major accomplishment stage could make constructs with there combat qi and although it was a rumor many people still believed it . But now Ren had just made a construct with his qi and he felt like he could pop from the excitement , he immediately tried to turn the construct back into its qi form and it happened with but a thought , afterwards Ren stretched out the combat qi from his right hand in a straight line until it got a little longer than Rens arms , then he tried solidifying it and it immediately turned into a sword , Ren couldn't believe it actually worked , he knew he could now form constructs but he thought he would have to master it to make a sword , but he just did it right now without any troubles.
Ren wanted to do a few more experiments but then he remembered that the wolf he formed a soul pact with also underwent some changes so Ren looked in front to check on the wolf but what he saw thoroughly shocked him , the wolf was now around 2.2 metres tall while standing on all four legs , it's fur was dark black , it's claws and the teeth in it's mouth were all razor sharp and shining like they had been polished .
" so human , you all right now "
Rens eyes bulged up immediately after hearing this voice , it was the wolf's voice but the wolf in front of him didn't even open it's mouth , Ren actually heard it in his head , " what not talking anymore ?" asked the wolfs voice again .
" What's going on here ?" asked Ren in a somewhat unsettling manner .
" Wait oh right you didn't know about this right" the wolfs voice spoke again , " know what ?" asked Ren .
" about this ..."
the wolf explained the phenomenon to Ren .
When you make a soul pact with someone or something , than you will be able to communicate with it through a mind link , so you could transfer words to the other party without talking .
While these two were conversing through their mind link , suddenly a howling sound rang out from the direction opposite to Ren , immediately Ren and the wolf turned their heads towards the direction of the sound , " damn it , it's him " said the wolf , " who ?" asked Ren , " the wolf king !" .
Before the wolf could explain anything more a wolf with dark blue fur , almost the same size as the wolf Ren formed a pact with walked out from the woods , and with a whole pack of wolves with it .
" so it seems you've evolved into a magical beast " said the wolf with blue fur . " what do you want ?" said the wolf Ren formed a pact with . While they were conversing in the wolves tongue Ren could understand everything , it seemed that the pact had also led him to learning the wolves language .
" what do I want , well nothing much , I'm simply here to kill you !" said the blue wolf calmly . " why ?" asked the black wolf ." Because you're a disgrace , forming a pact with a human , how low can you get , I knew I should've eradicated the black wolf clan a while ago " said the blue wolf in an angered tone.
what the blue wolf was saying was angering the black wolf and so it replied . " stop lying , do you take me for a fool , anybody can tell that you're just scared I'll take your title as the wolf king " shouted the blacked wolf . Upon hearing these words , Ren immediately understood what was going on .
