Bai Qingling let out an "Oh."
Catching a glimpse of Jian Ye's expression from the corner of her eye, she ignored it and turned to enter the villa.
Chu Junming watched Bai Qingling walk away before withdrawing his gaze and asked Jian Ye, "Do you want to come in and sit for a while?"
Jian Ye's complicated feelings had yet to settle, and hearing Chu Junming's host-like tone was another dagger to his heart.
"Are Young Master Chu and Qingling dating?"
He heard his own voice, knowing he'd asked a silly question, and didn't wait for Chu Junming to answer before awkwardly saying, "Young Master Chu, just pretend I was rambling. You go ahead inside, my designated driver should be arriving soon."
Chu Junming smiled faintly, seemingly unbothered by the bold question he'd just been asked.
He glanced at Jian Ye's car and nodded, "If you're not coming in, then I'll head inside first. For any issues with the villa's renovation, feel free to contact me anytime."
"Sure."
