[Kenzie, who is after you?] Jacob's voice was clear in my head, as well as he hands bracing me against the car. I paused to take in this moment, while watching him trying to calm himself.
"Jacob." I looked at him dead on, and he didn't move. I smacked his hands away from my sides, then opened the door, with one hand. "Let's talk later, for now, go home."
[Kenzie answer me!] I slammed the door shut and turned around and faced the angered Alpha. Every step I took forward, he took one step back. I watched him rethink his fault and he transformed.
I was already at my limits when he started the conversation. However when he screamed in my head, all the control I had, just left in a wink. He knew he messed up as soon as he saw, the bright glow in his mate's eyes.
[Jacob, you want an answer, I want to speak it to your face, not the beast!] I watched as the beast lied down, in front of my feet, begging me for forgiveness. [Jacob. Shift] I watched the man transform and I threw a blanket on him in time.
"Kenzie, I didn't think you would..." He trailed off as I glared at him.
"Jacob, as much as I like and love you, there is a line. The answer is yes, someone was injured at the company, because there is someone after me. Jacob, unless you start talking about what you know about the prophecy, then I will spill." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, I heard the car door open and shut.
"George, we'll be staying the night. Find a good place."I turned back to my mate, as he slumped, wrapping the blanket around him. "And get him some clothes." He nodded then handed me a phone.
"Mackenzie?" The old man's voice was clear, however still cold. "Stay there for a couple of days. The company has been locked down, the young lady woke up in the hospital, and she mentioned how you saved her. However they're looking for the attacker, she also mentioned that there was someone was after you." I took in a deep breath.
"So it would be wise for me to stay away for a couple days." I mumbled, then looked in Jacob's direction. "I'll be staying in London instead." He sounded like he was going to argue, then I hung up.
"We leave tomorrow." I helped Jacob stand up, then turned around when I heard a click of a gun. A man was in a corner with a sniper, aimed at both of us. Both of us looked in his direction, and his finger was trembling over the trigger.
"Give me your money." I snickered slightly, as I heard the lie. This sniper wanted money when he was probably getting a decent amount for causing a death.
"Drop the weapon." I was standing by his side in a blur, with my pistol pointed at his head. He took a deep breath and let go of the gun, before it reached the ground I caught it and unloaded it.

"Kenzie leave him be, he's probably after me." I called as the suburban pulled in, with George driving, handing me a stack of clothes.
"Actually, it was her." He turned his head and was scared that the woman's eyes were glowing, in such dim light.
"Who sent you?" She questioned, the one question that all three of us wanted answered. It wasn't a couple second later that someone else stepped out of the shadow and clasped a cloth over Kenzie's mouth and nose.
I rushed toward her, but there were snipers above shooting in my direction. Kenzie punched one of the men, then shifted ripping off one of the men's head. Blood spilled everywhere, and bodies lying on the ground.
Her eyes were glassy, as the drug took effect, she swayed in her steps, then collapsed, her breathing light. The whole time she looked confused and angered.
"Get her!" A man called rushing toward the beautiful grey wolf, that was on the ground, about five men came over and hauled her into a van. Bullets were flying, preventing me from getting to her. Some managed to hit my body, however they were slight wounds that would heal quickly.
"Kenzie!!" I shouted as the van drove off. These people could see supernatural which wasn't a good thing, seeing that they got away with Kenzie. I debated shifting, then ended up doing it, chasing after the van. The more I ran, the less energy I had.
[Kenzie!?] I shouted through the mind-link, answered with silence, I slowed and watched the van turn onto an interstate in the opposite direction of London. George pulled up a couple minutes later and helped me into the suburban.
"Micheal, I want you to scan the cameras of the ally ways..." I droned on as I thought about the look on Kenzie's, She was confused. "Find Kenzie." I commanded then rested my head on the head rest, while watching the cars pass by.

"Your Highness is there a reason you didn't interrupt?" The King stood there on the rooftop, after the huge display of firearms and shifting wolves, the king was unfazed.
"I want to see how she deals with the kidnapping. Then I'll test her on a couple of other things, before I take her completely." The King smiled at the thought, the young lady being his.
"Your Highness, what if she was hurt?" The King chuckled at this statement, then looked toward the sky. 'That little Luna wouldn't be hurt, instead we should worry about the kidnappers' the king mused to himself.
"The prophecy was right about her being the strongest, tell Julian I want to speak with him." The King looked at his informant, then looked away.
"Yes Your Highness." He spoke in a clear tone, and rushed off leaving the Vampire King alone on the rooftop, thinking of his next plan.

The drug, was slowly wearing off with every minute, it wouldn't be long before the beast would come knocking on the door. The girl was tied to a chair, while three men were standing watch.
"She's vicious, Charlie" The young man, how managed to stay alive, however the same could not be said for the four others, that were lying on the ground.
"We had orders, however he never said we couldn't beat her up. She needs to pay for the ones we've lost." Charlie smirk at his statement as he looked at the locked door
A new set of guards walked in, while the old set left for break. She had not made a movement, since she was tied to the chair. However the wolf was wide awake, just waiting for the human side wake up.
Two hours later...
'It's cold, my wrists hurt, so do my ankles.' I spitted out the gag and looked up to face three sets of eyes on me. 'ah, now I remember' I thought to myself as I tried to loosen the knots.
"She's awake finally." Charlie walked into the room. Charlie was a average man, looked like he was in his mid-twenties. He looked like the person that would smile while stabbing you in the back.
"Charlie." The young man look frantic, I narrowed my eyes at the youngster, 'I thought I killed him.' I thought to myself. I knew that man's name was Charlie since it popped into my head, even while I was drugged my wolf was awake.
