After that short conversion between Rami and Salvatore, to enjoy their last moment, since the last mission is in Korea, they visit every famous place that they can go to. They even patronized Namdaemun Night Market. Trying new things and tasting new things.
The day after that, they catch their own flight that Salvatore asks his men to book. Salvatore to Italy, him in the Philippines.
After sitting in his own designated place and finding his self-comfortable, he fished out his phone from the pocket of his black hooded jacket that he's wearing right now. He dial the number of his Eldest Brother, Aster.
Actually, Rami doesn't want to call his Eldest Brother right now, but he has to, there's no choice, partly he is his 'boss'.
Yeah. Aster, his Eldest Brother is his nominal Boss, the pillar and Alpha of their own even though they own their company which is filled with high rank assassins who work for them.
So, Rami needed to report to his boss now since he had already finished his mission.
After two rings, his Eldest Brother answered his call then he heard his cold voice that made him shiver slightly.

Rami really can't get used to that cold voice of that brother of his.
"What do you want?" Astera asked Rami with his oh so cold voice and is brand new from Antarctica.
That makes him tremble unconsciously.
"Hello too, eldest brother, huh?" Rami answered him, and please insert sarcasm.
Rami heard his Eldest Brother sigh.
"Cut the crap and just tell me what you need directly. I'm very busy right now." Astera said quickly and Rami can imagine him with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Geezz, loosened up, will you? Anyways, I'm done." Rami said while shrugging his shoulders and leaned more on his chair.
"That fast?" he questioned as if he was surprised by what I said
Rami laughed a little bit hearing his Elder Brother's doubt to hide his pain.
They will never really change the way they see him huh. Is it really always going to be like that?
"Is that really how weak I am in your eyes, brother?" Rami asked mockingly so that Astera wouldn't notice he was hurt by what he said.
"No, no, not like that." Astera denied immediately.
From that, he knew that the other senses Rami's pain.
"Whatever big brother, and Oh!!! I guess I'm not going back to the Philippines yet." Rami said, changing the topic because he doesn't want to talk further about that topic.
"Why?" Astera asks with his deep voice as soon as he hears Rami's words.
He didn't like what he heard for sure.
Rami has already been away from home for three and a half months. That's enough. And now, he wanted to extend? Not gonna happen.
Right then and there, Rami already knew that Astera didn't like what he said. But, already offended and hurt again a while ago, he didn't think and ponder much.
"Well, you see, I want to unwind, that's all." Rami answered nonchalantly.
Rami thought that he no longer needed to explain.
"Hmm. . ." Astera stayed silent.
After not hearing more from Rami, he finally talked, probingly, "Okay, is that all?"
He wanted to hear more.
His guts are telling him something is wrong.
"Bye." Rami abruptly said instead of answering Astera's question. By his voice, he is not giving him a chance to retort because he doesn't want to talk anymore.
"Okay then, bye. Take care." Without another choice and to not further irritate his brother, Astera can only respond softly. Though Astera sounded disappointed that Rami was going to hang up the phone already.
At Astera's final words, Rami's heart ached even more. Deep down, he knew his eldest brother didn't truly care about him. Those words had only been spoken out of courtesy. Only uttered because Astera knew Rami wanted to hear them because he wanted to believe that they cared about him.
It had always been like that.
Rami didn't tell him that he is already in flight and is going back right now.
Why tell him, he really didn't want to tell where he was going. Also, they will not really care where he is going anyway.
He was sure that his brothers would all think that he would travel abroad and that there's no way he'll come back into the Philippines yet if he has the choice to go to other places if he wants to unwind. They will never guess it if they don't investigate. They did say, the closer you are to that dangerous place, the safer you become.
He knows that he is lying to his brother now. Though he can do that right? It's just that he wants to be alone first before he comes back. He doesn't want to show up to anyone he knows and who knows him.
In fact, Rami still hasn't forgotten all the pain he felt before he started his mission. That pain was further intensified because of Astera earlier.
He knew he had no right to feel pain. After all, this was what he had wanted. He was the one who caused everything, the one who set it all in motion.
Sooner or later, because of what he had done, the person he loved would say the words he didn't want to hear, face to face.
He expected it. He had prepared himself for it. And yet, he knew he wouldn't be able to endure the pain when it finally came. There was nothing he could do now. He was already too far in.
The moment Dark became close to him. Closer enough to reach, close enough for Rami to have a chance to be with him—he refused to let it slip away, even if it meant getting hurt in the end.
That's why he won't give up.
He knows within himself that he won't give up on Dark.
Dark has already been with him. Something has already happened between them.
With that thought, Rami felt satisfied with that realization.

With this mindset, fueled by his love, obsession, and possessiveness for Dark. He would make sure that Dark belonged to him and him alone. Even if it meant Dark would hate him, he didn't care.
But before that, he will just re-charge his heart for a moment and think of a plan. He just wishes that it will become successful. Or else if that doesn't work, he will give up and just love Dark from afar. Silently giving his love and protection to Dark without the person's knowledge.
