Kaiden is stunned.
The Alpha is huge, at least two inches taller than all the alphas Kaiden has seen so far. His strawberry blond hair is slicked back, showcasing his tall nose and piercing blue eyes. He is also bearish, as wide as he is tall, with muscles bulging even through the three-piece suit.
Kaiden has several questions: Who is this man? Why is he here? And isn't he suffocating in that outfit?
Even on the chilliest of nights, the thickest Kaiden has worn on this island is a cardigan. And that's already when he's pregnant and has a higher body temperature than normal. He can't imagine wearing a three-piece suit in this hot and humid weather, even if all the facilities in the hospital are equipped with air conditioning.
Just looking at the Alpha makes Kaiden feel hot.
Kaiden is still observing the Alpha when the next thing he knows, there's a childish scream next to him.
