Chapter 27 - Chapter 24 : (Shall we Begin....)

"Hello, Alastor."

The individual standing before us was around medium height, with pale-colored skin, yellow colored-eyes, black slit pupils, sharp teeth, and rosy dots for cheeks. Currently, he wore a white suit with a black bowtie and a red undershirt with white stripes. His hair was blonde and styled in a pompadour style and he carried a cane with an apple attached to the top. He gave me a sideways glance before he raised an eyebrow up and mused in a surprisingly British accent, "You seem interesting?"

I gulped slightly as an unsettling chill seem to fill the air around me. Alastor was still sporting his shit-eating grin but he had a small frown on his face. "Lucifer! To what do I owe the pleasure of your untimely and unwanted visit?" Alastor said with a menacing tone at the end. Lucifer merely chuckled at Alastor before suddenly disappearing from view. I felt a hand touch my shoulder and I could feel my heart jump into my throat.

"I was minding my own business when I suddenly noticed a disturbance in Hell." His grip on my shoulder tightens slightly as he continued, "When all of a sudden a hole appeared above Pentagram City and that the Radio Demon himself was sucked right out of the streets." Lucifer walked around me and laid his arm over my shoulder his yellow-colored eyes glowing brightly.

"So, tell me human?"

He raised his cane and pushed the apple against my chest with his smile growing wider.

"What exactly are you?"

I blinked at his question before saying, "I'm human."

"No, you aren't."

"Yes, I am."

"No."

"Yes."

I could see Lucifer's eyebrow twitch slightly as he said, "I smell that you've recently died but I also smell a hint of divinity." He wrinkled his nose slightly and said, "It smells like crap."

[HEY!]

I frowned slightly and said, "It's not polite to speak ill of other people." Lucifer gave me a wicked grin as he mused, "Oh, should I apologize?" I narrowed my eyes and said, "That would be wise." I could feel the air turn a few notches down as Lucifer pulled his arm away and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm the embodiment of Pride..." He leaned towards me and whispered, "...It's going to be hard for me to apologize, I might need someone to help me out?" I tighten my grip on Kayda, my slight movement caught Lucifer's eye as the grin on his face took a malicious turn.

"Dear Lucifer, It's not polite to intervene in another gentleman's duel."

I turn my attention to Alastor who spoke. His eyes were currently glowing and he sported a large smile that would make a serial killer blush. I could feel the creeping cold grow stronger as the air around us seem to freeze in place. I turn my head back to Lucifer to see a pair of pitch-black wings on his back and a pair of jagged black horns appeared to form in his temples. He was now a few inches taller than me and his eyes were now pitch black with red-slit pupils.

"Fine."

Lucifer disappeared from view before reappearing in a burst of black feathers a few feet away. He was currently sitting on a golden-looking chair with a ceramic cup in his hands. His appearance was back to normal and he was sipping his tea with a calm expression on his face.

{Large amounts of killing intent detected.}

I turned my attention back towards Alastor. His frown was gone and he had a more relaxed smile on his face. Raising a hand he snapped his fingers, and the orchestra of instruments resumed their eerie song. "Shall we begin?" I nodded my head and unsheathed Kayda her blade giving off a light blue glow. Alastor's eyes glowed as he suddenly dashed forward at the speed of light. I jerked my head to the side as a claw-like hand narrowly missed my face. I swung my sword upwards and felt my blade connect with something briefly before I spun around and blocked a black tentacle from piercing my back.

Slicing the tentacle in half with a casual swing of my sword. I gazed at my blade and noticed a small amount of dark red blood coating my sword. I peered back up and saw Alastor a few feet away the left side of his suit was sliced open with the clothing turning a shade darker.

Alastor gazed down at the wound before placing a hand over it. Removing his hand, the wound was gone and the suit was repaired.

"It's been a while since I've seen my own blood."

Alastor raised a hand, which was coated in his blood, and gazed at it with a raised eyebrow. Turning back towards me his crimson-colored eyes glowed brightly as he mused, "Show me more of it."

I raised Kayda up and snickered as I said, "You, are one crazy bastard."

Alastor's smile seems to stretch to the corners of his eyes as he said, "Yes, I am one crazy bastard."

[Kick his ass Atal! Then kick the feather asshole behind you!]

{I agree with the Lady.}
