Chapter 26 - Chapter 23: (Another One...)

{Contract Broken!}

Upon hearing those words time slowed as a black claw came flying towards my face. I snapped my head to the side before I swung a fist in a sharp uppercut. My fist connected with Alastor's jaw and sent his head snapping backwards. Seeing his body bent backwards in a unnatural angle I was stumped at first before his head snapped back into place.

I jumped backwards as a large black tentacle suddenly pierced the ground below me. Bending my body backwards I dodged another tentacle and rolled as another swung downwards from above. Rolling onto my knees, I peered up, and saw the air around Alastor gaining a red hue.

"Good..."

He raised his hand up and wiped at a trail of blood seeping from the corner of his mouth. His smile grew wicked as he opened his mouth to reveal a long red tongue. Licking the blood from his fingertips he mused, "Come." He snapped his fingers as dozens of flaming portals surrounded him. From those portals countless tentacles came out and withered around him.

"Bring me Entertainment!"

All at once the black tentacles flew towards me at incredible speeds. I tighten the muscles in my legs as I jumped backwards, causing the ground to crack, as my body shot up and onto the road above. I could see Alastor chase after me as those red eyes of his glowed and the tentacles slithered up the slope.

Landing on the road I dodged a tentacle that shot up from underneath me and rolled away. Landing on my knees, I heard a low growl, and swung my fist backwards to destroy the head of a zombie police officer. His body went limp as blood splattered across the road.

Shaking the blood off my hand, I gazed around, and noticed countless zombies lumbering towards me. I stepped back as a old man with a missing arm lunged at me. I grabbed the back of his collar and pulled him downwards. The old mans head cracked on the ground as his legs flew over him, breaking his spine, and causing his body to bend at a unnatural angle.

"What pest."

Peering over my shoulder I could see Alastor staring at the zombies around us. His eyes were full of annoyance as he raised his hand and said, "Let's clear out the dance floor." With a snap of his fingers the large tentacles shot out towards the zombies. Limbs and blood flew everywhere as the tentacles ripped through the zombies. Slowly, the tentacles receded and formed a large circle around me and Alastor.

"The stage is set...Now we only need a little bit of music!"

Suddenly, the ground cracked behind Alastor and countless black shadows emerged. I watched as various shadow demons emerged, each one carried a instrument, and were smiling with green eyes and teeth. After a few moment they raised their instruments and music started playing. It was a slow at first, with a creepy vibe, something that would be played in a horror movie. I narrowed my eyes as Alastor brought his gaze towards me. His eyes had returned to normal and his smile had returned to the same 'creepy ass' smile from before.

"Shall we begin?"

I felt myself start to smirk as I raised my hand towards my chest and summoned my sword. Feeling the familiar warmth spread through my body, I raised a hand, and motioned him towards me.

"Come then."

Alastor smile grew as he raised his hand and in a flash of green light, he summoned his cane, the air around him glowed as he walked towards me his eyes flashing towards my sword. His smile grew upwards as he brought his eyes back to me and spun his cane around him. As I watched him draw near, I brought my sword by my waist, and placed my hand upon the handle. My fingers wrapped around the handle as I slowly bent my knees downwards.

"Ahem."

I froze as my blade clicked open and could feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. My eyes peered at Alastor to see him freezing and staring off in another direction. I followed his gaze and saw a individual standing some few feet away. His yellow eyes were glowing as he gazed at his with a snake-like black pupil.

"Hello, Lucifer."

Hearing Alastor's words I felt my eyebrow rise upwards as the individual before us turned toward Alastor the air around him growing steadily colder.

"Hello, Alastor."
