Tessa Caldwell returned from the bedroom to the living room, where Shawn Morton was sitting on the sofa next to her little spoiled pup.
With a cold expression, he lectured the little spoiled pup, "What's with the whining? So what if you're a stray single now, Tessa doesn't love me anymore, I've had a breakup, no big deal. I'm the one who loves her the most in this world. I'll wait; one day, she'll realize that I'm the one who loves her the most and is the most suitable for her!"
Tessa lazily glanced at Shawn Morton, "Shawn Morton, can you please take a break from your Longevity Monk syndrome?"
Shawn glared at Tessa and gave a heavy snort, "Tessa Caldwell, how can you be so cold to me right now!"
Tessa frowned and retorted, "Have I ever been warm to you?"
"Tessa Caldwell! I like you so much, and you actually... actually just now..." Shawn said, clawing his fingers at his mouth and then wailing like a ghost, shouting at Tessa, "You drive me crazy, that person must have drugged you, hypnotized you…"
Tessa glanced at him impatiently, initially wanting to say his imagination was too rich, but then thought if this makes him feel better, let him think whatever he likes. So she replied with a cheerful smile, "Just assume it's true then!"
Shawn was infuriated, looking at his little pup, he pouted and said, "My little lady, you shouldn't learn from her, eating from one bowl while eyeing another pot. It's not enough having me, still hoping for other guys."
Tessa glared at him intensely, "I have nothing to do with you! Stop describing me in such a nasty way, alright? Thomas Morton!!"
Shawn clingingly said, "I never said anything nasty about you, no matter how you are, I won't dislike you, I like you anyway."
"Insane!"
"Yeah, right, insane indeed. Why don't you treat it?"
Tessa squinted her eyes, a bit impatiently, "Either peacefully sleep on the sofa, or scram! Your choice."
Shawn looked at Tessa, decisively said, "I'm not leaving, I'll sleep on the sofa. Tessa, I won't give up on you! One day, you'll surely be moved by my actions and agree to be my wife!"
Tessa said helplessly, "I think you might really be sick and not lightly either, you need proper treatment."
"Yes! You're right! I suffer from a disease called love!" Shawn looked at Tessa with deep affection, smiled broadly, and said.
"Boring!" Tessa swept him a cold glance, turned around, and went back to the bedroom: "Don't give up on treatment."
"Hehe!" Shawn grinned foolishly, without replying, but beneath that grin lay a deep bitterness, Tessa, oh Tessa, one day I will move you.
Tessa took a blanket for Shawn, ignored him, and went back to the bedroom.
Faye walked out of the bathroom after showering, wet hair draped over his forehead, making his already perfect features even more exquisite. A white bathrobe, only tied at the waist, exposing his sexy collarbone, and his whole body exuded a kind of lazy and seductive aura.
Tessa was once again tempted by his beauty, her eyes were fixed.
"Why are you daydreaming?" Faye leaned down and slowly approached Tessa, his voice lowering, "Want to touch it?"
Tessa snapped out of it, her face flushed instantly, turned her head "No way!" but pathetically swallowed hard.
Beside her, Faye said mischievously, "Even if you want to touch, I won't let you."
