Alfraed, Mikaela, Alana, Salsahara, and Bregror sat around the table. Snow perched on Mikaela's shoulder while Balze rested in Alana's lap.
"Little brother, how have you been?" Bregror asked, concern in his deep voice. He knew Alfraed had a lot on his plate.
Alfraed offered a tired but genuine smile. "Busy, as always. But I'm managing. The territory development is moving forward, slow but surely, and Herbs & Lotions is gradually expanding. It's a lot, but it's worth it. Above all, I'm not alone. I may already raised the white flag if I'm doing this by myself."
