Theo entered the room shortly after Fiona left, his usual calm demeanor intact. "Boss," he said with a nod, his glasses catching the light.
Alfraed motioned for him to take a seat. "Theo, you were brought on board by Elise based on Fiona's recommendation while I was absent. Therefore, I have no doubts about your abilities."
Theo adjusted his glasses, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Thank you, Boss. I've done my best to manage the finances since joining Herbs & Lotions. It's been a learning experience, but I'm glad to be part of this team."
Alfraed nodded, his expression serious but appreciative. "Your work hasn't gone unnoticed, Theo. You've kept us on track financially, and that's no small feat. Especially with everything we're planning and the rising transactions, your role is more critical than ever."
