As captain, Rowan Drake was really concerned. He walked over and asked, "What happened to Sue Rooney?"
"Half an hour after we entered the ancient town, she said she wasn't feeling well. I didn't know why, so I kept her with me to do the mission. But she felt worse and worse. I took her to the restroom, and she collapsed inside."
Hearing that, everyone got worried and walked toward the two of them.
Sue Rooney was slumped tiredly against Joel Jones's shoulder. She took a deep breath. "Sorry, I made you all worry."
Joel Jones set her down into a chair and gently patted her back.
Sue Rooney looked at everyone fussing over her and shook her head, forcing a smile. "I'm fine. At least we got the activation card."
Joel Jones's eyes were full of distress as he added, "In the last ten minutes, Sue dragged her sick body around to find it. When she really couldn't keep going anymore, that's when I carried her."
Hearing that, the others were all moved.
"Sue, you worked so hard."
