"I'm happy for you Hale." Eggy said with a mesmerizing look.
"Thank you... hehe... look at this lightning bolt!" Hale was casting different spells, trying to see how many spells he can use. But he finally realized something.
"A small Mana-pool formed next to my sea of Qi. The Mana-pool is drying up fast." Hale said.
"Hmmm... try absorbing these beast cores, maybe it will help you to expand your Mana-pool." Dia said whilst handing him the beast cores.
Hale sat crossed-leg and began absorbing the pure energy within the beast cores. His Mana pool was only a couple of feet long but after absorbing the first beast core, it doubled in size.
They were still in the palace. Eggy was looking around, trying to find some useful treasures. But everything is hopeless as it was found either destroyed or complete useless. Eggy mostly picked up cutlery, a rusted spoon or a sraped pot.
The broken castle was large but most of the entrances were caved in, only leaving the main throne hall available. Dia was helping Eggy to dig around, but it was useless as everything was dilapidated.
Hale was busy absorbing the energy within the beast core. He sat on a old rug that had many holes. The ceiling and large broken stones were surrounding him. As he absorbed a certain amount of Mana, the black crown suddenly appeared on his head again.
This time the crown glowed with dazzling light. The Mana in all the beast cores that was arranged in front of him and the free Mana in the atmosphere surged towards Hale. His Mana pool began expanding frantically. From ten-feet long it grew to 5 meters and continued to expand in size. After his Mana pool grew to 10 meters the crown on his head shone with more splendor.
Half of the Mana pool in his body was absorbed by the crown. Hale frowned at this. This was the first time something tried stealing so much power from him. The crown doubled in size and a white jewel appeared in the front of the crown, giving it an almighty feeling. The white gem dazzled and black armour formed on his body.
The crown used half of his Mana pool to form armour on his body. A black cape with many inscriptions formed, attaching itself to his shoulders. Pictures of two dragons on the cape swerved and twisted giving it a mystical effect He looked like a majestic king. Red and white lines was carved on the armour, making it look streamline and sturdy.
The darkness attribute of Mana surged towards him. The sky turned dark and the clouds circulated. The darkness reigned in, being absorbed by Hale. The Dark Mana surged within him, coarsing through his bones, muscles and blood. His body strengthened and his blood became more thicker. His hair had hints of black within the startling silver. His eyes turned red, fully crimson in color.
His muscles reformed allowing him to not only achieve fine control on the Mana but to also achieve major improvement in cultivation as he broke through four levels continuously. He was now on the eight thread of the body-threading realm. His major sensory Qi vessels opened, allowing him to hear, smell, feel and taste better.
Eggy looked at the change, she was mesmerized by his formidable appearance. She tugged on his arm and blushed at him. Hale had his eyes close but the sudden tugging made his eyes to open. His eyes glinted with crimson, sparkled with power and stared at Eggy with an mighty look.
In his head the ancient voice spoke. "With the Eyes of Truth all beliefs will disintegrate, all illusions will deform, all truths will be seen. Nothing can hide from the Eyes of Truth."
Hale was stunned about the voice. This time it did not sound neutral but more feminine.
"The ancient voice spoke once again. What's the Eyes of Truth." Hale thought inwardly. As he wondered about the Eyes of Truth, his eyes began to change. His eyes turned from crimson to gold and a red star formed in his pupils. He was astounded, he could see many colors flying in the Air. Those colors were different forces of energy. He could see them all. He looked towards Eggy and he could see the different energies circulating within her.
Eggy shivered at those eyes that looked at her with an almighty power hidden within. It felt like all her secrets were revealed by those eyes. She felt naked in front of those eyes, making her subconsciously tug at her chest and cover herself.
Hale smiled at Eggy, showing his pearly white teeth. Eggy came closer towards him and blushed. She seemed to be in a trance when she looked into those eyes of his. Her mind blanked and she was lost.
"Eggy what's wrong?" Hale asked looking confused. He did not know that his eyes made Eggy to enter a trance-like state.
