Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 - Finding the cave.

Dia was very powerful as she sensed something, but decided to ignore it as she discovered the fifth treasure.

"What is Hale thinking? I almost found all the treasures and this one is a sword. Haha, such a beautiful sword. Since Mother knew I would find all, she should have gave us the treasures from the start. What was she trying to achieve by doing this? Trying to crush the little confidence in Hale." Dia was examining her beautiful sword. It was cyan in color and had powerful inscriptions on the hilt and on the blade.

Dia was next to a rock which was very large. The sword was placed next to it. It was really easy to find. The other four treasures she had found was also quite amazing but all was lacking compared to the sword.

She found a bag that can store many items, it seems to be imbued with the inscriptions of Spatial-Mana. She identified the type of Mana quite easily, and she also placed all the treasures she found inside her bag.

"Oh well, let's not waste any more time. I should find the last item. I wonder if Hale already found it? Maybe not. There is a pattern to this treasure hunt. I seemed to notice that the each treasure is placed consecutively on different heights of the valley. So the last treasure should be further down of the valley." As she found all the treasures from above, she decided to go down.

Dia walked down the valley. From afar below she could see their house atop the valley. She was walking slowly beside the river-bank. Seeing how the water flows, and the many different Fishes that are racing the current of water.

She held her hands and controlled the Mana in the water. She casted a spell and the water from the river arose above. It made many shapes and then it splashed. It was really fun.

She walked towards the side of the mountain, she saw Hales footprints on the grassy path. The trees by the side bent towards the flow of the wind. Dia thought, "Mother-Nature is so powerful and beautiful."

She placed her palms against the overgrown blades of grass and ran her hands through them. It felt nice and tickled her palms.

She followed the footprints that were visible on the grassy plain towards the cave of the mountain. She was quite far from home, about half a kilometer from the house. She couldn't help but get worried.

Dia began to shout, "Hale!! Hale! Where are you??!".

She found the cave on the cliff of the mountain. And walked towards it. Dia began to shout again, "Hello? Is anyone in there??! Hale! Where are you?".

She entered the cave and saw the many crystal lattices. But then she turned around as it was really dark inside. She didn't know what danger lurked in the unknown. She was a bit scared so she ran out.

Dia walked towards the river and across she could see a basket. She crossed the bridge that was built across the river. Arriving on the other side, she found the basket.

Inside the basket was a book. A blue book to be precise. The title was embroidery, with golden cotton. It read, 'Book of Spell's Tier 1'.

"Wow, Mother went all out. Such an amazing spell book. I can't wait to learn all these spell's." Dia exclaimed. She picked up the book very carefully and placed it inside her small bag.

In the basket was a note. It read, "My Darling Dia. If you see this, it means you found almost all the treasures, so while you down here, please help me to pluck some herbs for tonight's meal. Love you.".

On the bottom was Diana's signature.

Dia rolled her eye's. "Mother is so lazy nowadays. I feel like the more we age, the more lazier she becomes."

She went to the fields where plentiful of herbs was planted. She started to harvest some of them as the list behind the note guided her.

Hale was still trying to choose which treasure he should pick. Everything was so amazing. He saw a cool shield that could shoot spikes and a broomstick that hovered above the ground. Most of the things needed Mana, so it came down to the items that used Qi.
