Kai survived his first Potion Class without losing points for his house while being paired with a male student from Hufflepuff with the name of Alex Price.
He is a muggle-born wizard just like Kai which made it easy for them to connect but Kai would find out soon that it was tendenciely easier to befriend a Hufflepuff student than a student from any other house.
He also found out that Alex had a younger brother named John who wasn't magical but always runs around in cameo pants shouting 'Bravo Six going dark'.
This made Kai laugh as he always wanted a little brother but he knew that would most likely never happen since his mother already had him and wasn't looking for a partner.
He might have a cousin in the dark since his uncle is a womanizer who can't keep his penis in his pants but for now nobody appeared before them claiming to be his son.
Anyway Kai was enjoying his time in Hogwarts as it was more relaxed compared to what he went through with Logan and in Kaer Morhen.
Everything was going well until Kai had his first lesson in Defense against the Dark Arts in which his housemates received points for listing and describing the Three Unforgivable.
Professor Moody saw Kai's bored expression and he asks in a strict tone, "Is something wrong, Mr. Masters, or am I boring you?"
Kai yawned as he asks, "Can I ask why only those spells or 'Curses' as you say were forbidden?"
"Well, the Ministry in the year 1717 banned the Three Unforgivable because they are the Strongest Dark Art Spells in existences that is why they got banned or better said a huge penalty was placed on those three spells until the 1990s were the Ministry decided to put anyone who used any of the Curses in Azkaban," says Moody explaining the matter to Kaiser knowing that Kaiser was relatively new to the Wizard Community.
"Still there are much more dangerous spells out there if you ask me for example Blood Magic," says Kaiser confusing Professor Moody a bit.
"You mean like in Blood Rituals or Blood Oaths? They can be quite 'Dark' but not as dangerous as the Three Unforgivable" says Professor Moody seriously as Kaiser was now confused when he remembered that Blood Magic was something that Abigail taught him behind Logan's back.
"Yes, exactly, sorry to have wasted your time Professor Moody," says Kaiser retreating his former question when Professor Moody only stares at him.
"Well, you aren't entirely false with why only the Three Unforgivable are banned. If it were to me I would have banned far more Curses but the Ministry is the last one to decide after all," says Professor Moody before taking a sip from his flask before putting it away.
"Anyway, in our next lesson you all will be undergoing the Imperius Curse to learn how to defend yourself against it when someone uses it against you," says Professor Moody warning the students to prepare themselves as he ended the class.
Kai only yawned when the lesson was over when Professor Moody stops everyone and says, "Everyone is to gather in the Great Hall at dinner tonight. It seems, the Headmaster has to announce something important."
'It must be what Havi mentioned before with Thor and Loki coming to Hogwarts,' thinks Kai as he went to his common room when he finds a light blonde girl standing before the entrance thinking about something.
"I can fill a room, but I take up no space. What am I?" asks the Raven decorating the entrance to the common room.
"That's relatively easy, the answer is Light," says Kai making the door swing open when Kai noticed the girl not moving from her place and he asks, "Didn't you try to enter the common room?"
"Oh eh, not really," says the girl making Kai look at her puzzled.
"Well if that is the case I will enter now. Also I heard that Dumbledore wants to see everyone at the Great Hall later to inform us about something important," says Kai to the absent-minded girl waiting for an answer only to hear an 'ahum'.
Kai didn't have any time to waste as he entered the common room before looking for Jörmungandr just to make sure that lazy snake didn't do something again like frightening the girls in the restroom like two days ago.
He found Jörmungandr sleeping soundly on his bed making Kai sigh in relief before picking the snake up and placing it around his neck to go for dinner since Fenrir could hunt his own food in the Forbidden Forest as well as Huninn and Muninn.
They were all reunited in the Great Hall as Dumbledore was standing behind the Podium that was before the table on which the teaching staff was sitting when he coughs twice before hitting his chalice twice with a spoon getting everyone's full attention.
"Alright, everyone, I have forgotten to tell you all something really important which slipped my mind because of all the events that transgressed on the Opening Day with our first year students, introducing Professor Moody, and last but not least our transfer student, Kaiser Masters," says Dumbledore in a warm tone while everyone looked at Kaiser thinking that he was at fault for overperforming his entrance with his pets.
"I forgot to inform you all that this year we won't be having our annual Quidditch competition as usual," says Dumbeldore earning a lot of complains since Quidditch was the most exciting pass time in Hogwarts.
"Now let me finish," says Dumbledore not swayed by the student keeping his warm tone as he continues, "This year we will be holding the Triwizard Tournament. It is a tournament between three schools of Europe in which they face each other to declare a winner."
"We will soon be welcoming guests from Durmstrang Institute as well as Beauxbatons Academy of Magic into Hogwarts until the tournament is over. I will also inform everyone here that only people that are over the wizarding age of majority can participate and there might be only one from each school which an old artifact the Goblet of Fire will decide on," says Dumbledore informing everyone when an old big Goblet was apparated into the Great Hall.
"A fair warning to everyone that isn't of full age to participated. You won't be able to put your name into the Goblet and will be cursed by it. There is also something else," says Dumbledore when his tone changed completely making sure that nobody would underestimated the next thing that he says, "The Champions chosen by the Goblet enter a sacred contract which won't allow them to forfeit their position or back down from the tournament. If they break the contract something awful will happen to the person with losing their magic being one of them."
This shocked everyone except for Kai as it must have been Loki who placed said contract on the Goblet to make sure nobody could run away from the tournament once it started.
"So be warned and don't do something foolish which you could regret later on," says Dumbledore seriously as he finished with what he had to say.
He then told everyone to eat as the food was getting cold before returning to his seat at the staff table while Kai was thinking about why the tournament was only meant for people over sixteen when Jörmungandr only smiled at him knowing the answer since he used to be a test in this Triwizard Tournament just like Fenrir.
Everyone ate and another week passed with Kai seeing the futile attempt of the Weasley Twins as they turned old before they where sent to the infirmary to get the curse undone.
Kai laughed heartily from seeing the spectacle like everyone else before he went to his next class with Professor Moody in Defense against the Dark Arts.
As Moody said last class he would make everyone undergo the Imperius Curse so they could defend themselves against it. Moody started with Kai who was standing across from him.
"Now then Mr. Masters. Resist the Imperius Curse. Take your time with it and remember that it is alright to fail the first time," says Moody as he takes his wand out and points it at Kaiser before saying, "Imperio"
The spell hit Kaiser but he didn't feel any change as he looked at Moody confused before asking, "Are we done?"
"Mr. Masters does your family have a resistance against the Three Unforgivable?" asks Moody curious as Kaiser only nods.
"You could say so. We have ancient runes tattooed on our skins but I think that I am just special," says Kai since he was given the powers of a whole Pantheon.
Then there was another condition with his body which Kai didn't know how he got it but it was helpful in desperate times when he hears, "Special you say, why would that be the case, Mr. Masters?"
"I am a Wizard after all. There is nothing more special in my whole family except for my Ancestors," says Kai as he didn't want to say that he had already underwent a torture of embarrassing things Logan made him do until he was back under full control.
"I can see that you have a mental fortitude but we should concentrate and return to the lecture as I continue to train the others to resist the Imperius Curse. How about you self-study until I am done with the others," says Moody seriously as his eye was wandering around the room before landing on the next student who was sweating from all the panic he was feeling.
Kai on the other hand opened a book which cover was an Oaktree which was dead on one side while the other was in full bloom. The book was an Alteration Tome which contained information about various spells.
The class continued normally while a man in a Nordic Armor entered the Great Hall before placing a piece of paper into the Goblet of Fire.
He was smiling as his hand rested on his weapon which was a hammer while he says to himself, "This will make things interesting for us Gods."
