Long Mei'er noticed that after the fragments hit the ground, the surrounding air fluctuated, raising a lot of dust, like it was impacted by the debris.
Before he could figure out what was going on, another miniature Magic Tracking Missile flew over and exploded with a "bang".
Hundreds of fragments flew out again, causing the surrounding air to fluctuate violently, and the dust grew more plentiful.
Long Mei'er took a shallow breath, furrowed his brows, and felt that the components of the air seemed to have changed mysteriously. He couldn't put his finger on what exactly had changed; it didn't seem like toxins, nor was it the turbulence caused by too much dust, but it made him somewhat uncomfortable.
With a thought, he forcefully expelled the air he had inhaled, sealing his nostrils along with all his pores, and began circulating mana within to sustain his physiological functions.
He then stepped forward to leave the original spot.
