"The man had already started to plant and grow mushrooms called spore trap mushrooms. He was newly brought in from some of the mushroom farms in the demi-human territory. He knew that the air would be filled with spores and make a lot of people sick if there was not a solution."
Walker was speaking very animatedly to Alma. He'd made another of his golem bodies who had been with Midnight come here and speak to her so she was able to hear things as they developed. It helped her remain calm and he had been able to catch her as she tried to sneak away to walk wherever she thought she should go.
"The others working there had begun to delve in to monsters as a chance to bring out the most in the thick skin mushroom houses they were growing. They were entirely forgetting that they were in the middle of a residential area." Walker also didn't hide his annoyance that he was dealing with that.
